I will be there for sure. I'll be bringing one of the twin-turbo cars for show and tell.
Is it the Bastard or the Goldmember? That is the question of the week!

Just another reminder for anyone traveling through Kansas City. If anyone gets stranded, needs help, or just needs to stop fpr beer and BBQ, we have a group of folks ready to help out. Keep my number handy and give me a ring if I can help out, 785-865-3435.
I am planning on heading down to Wichita on Saturday to hang out. I am looking forward to seeing y'all!

Greetings 928ers!
We are just about a week away now from what is shaping up to be a super event. Following are a few notes for info as you prepare for the run to Wichita.
Number one...Are you all set with reservations at the Hyatt? I asked them to check the reservations and they are showing less than I have registered.
How about the track hotel? For those headed down to Hallett we are using the Best Western Sand Springs at $59 per night, 918-245-4999.
Are those of you doing the track day all registered? If not please do this ASAP from the site http://928ocic.goimi.com and fax the registration form to me please at 316-685-0689 so I can get the info to John McDermott who is coordinating this event for the Cimarron Region PCA. We need info on instructors as well please.
We will have the ability to play music from a CD player and a cassette player at the convention center. How about a few volunteers willing to put together some "928 viewing" tunes so we can alternatively rock out and groove to the whole scene? Email me if you are inclined and bring some CDs and tapes!
We are having paintless dent repair (PDR) folks from Autocraft Inc working inside the convention center. I learned this from DEVEK Days and it is a real hit so if you have a few dings see these guys (ask Tony!).
Have you all sent me a pic of your car for your name badges? A list of names like guests/spouse/children? Get on it then!
We are doing the car wash area UNDER the convention center again. Enter from Douglas Street, turn south on a street just west of the center and when by the building turn left and look for the ramp to the basement. We'll ask them to leave the door open and have some supplies there for cleaning the sharks. When finished you can drive the cars up to the street level and park inside the center. We may need to move the cars so please leave them unlocked and preferably with the keys in them. We will have security and our staff watching your cars and valuables. If you don't want to leave the keys, then check back often and leave a phone contact on the windshield in case we need you to move your car.
Note our cell numbers should any questions arise on the trip in or while in Wichita. Marc White 316-734-4000 Teri Knebel 316-258-8585 Mo Zahr
316-655-4244
Jon Holdsworth has reported he is bringing a MAF in case anyone with an 87 or higher model year suspects theirs is going south. He is part of our Panel of Experts so visit with him at the Tech Session. Also look for Wally Plumley, Jay Kempf, Mo Zahr, Mark Anderson, David Roberts, Carl Fausett, Kim Crumb, Rich Andrade, Louie Ott and more to be at Mo's shop, Best Mechanical Work Saturday morning with lots of good things to talk about.
Any questions or comments? Email or call me!
Best 928 regards,
Marc White

Chuck,
I have not heard from any other Houston area 928'ers, but unfortunately it doesn't look like I'll be able to make it. Just got too much on my plate.
