Well, I really wanted to put the door panels on this weekend but I have to wait till the paint is done before I can rewire the mirrors. BUT I can still get the headliner and hopefull the dash and pod covers on this weekend (if they ship this week) I sure did like that guys carbon fiber detailing of his interior thread. I've been kicking around how I can break the black up a bit. I was thinking about some of those stainless bezels aroud here and there. Anyone seen anything that looked cool?

The only difference is the "trim" look around the pod.........I even liked that really. I was wondering how they designed the cover for that pod ,Now we know.
Oh yeh I also put in the new head liner Thanks to Stan Shaw. If you ever have to get get a part from him He really packs the stuff up good and sent all the hardware as well. Thanks Stan!

Looking good, Jeff! Where did you pick those up? Did they just slip right over the original dash & pod or was it more involved? BTW, I had to do a little bit of messin' around to be able to see your pics.... you had the slashes going the wrong way... they should all be like this --> /// Anyway, here they are:

Jeff,
This is a thread that will live on (5 star)
You're doing what many of us would like to think we had the stick-to-it-iveness to start and finish. Honestly, when I saw your first post with pictures of the car, I thought "Wow, gotta give this guy credit for his enthusiasm, but here's a guy who doesn't know what he's getting into". I figured we'd see a few more posts here & there, then you'd drop into oblivion as you realized that it was too much of an undertaking. There would then be a 1/2 restored 928 sitting in the back of a shop somewhere.
You're clearly a "the best results come only with hard work" type guy. I can't imagine having the confidence of taking on this car....even if I had the time or the space. You are truly the definition of a "928 Enthusiast". You put Monster Garage to shame IMO.
When you're finally done with this, you should go on tour with it! I'm sure that there are a bunch of us who really would like to see the final result.
Following a revival like this gives the 928 in my garage more soul in my mind. The early E-Types and 'vettes have soul, and so do 928s.
