Yeah I thought about the jager ones, but at $300+ it seems pricey.

That's a huge improvement! I'll shamelessly 'steal' some of your ideas and do mine like that or similar.

Hahahaha I havent polished it out yet. It still gets another 5 coats. I'm enjoying laying crap all over it. Those day will end soon like you said.

Hey Abby, if you steal enough of them we could pretend they were a rare factory option haha.

Jeff:

Let me know if you need pod switches. I may have some from an '81 in a baggie somewhere. Yours free if you need 'em.

Here's a couple of tips when I replaced my gauages:

Mark the needles with a piece of tape so you are 100% accurate when replacing them and don't put the pod all the way back in the car to find out they are on wrong.
Pull the NEEDLES straigt UP. A small micro-set of needle nose pliers helps.
When replacing, GENTLY push STRAIGHT DOWN. Should here a little click sound. Very Little force otherwise you WILL bend the needle post.

Good luck!

I wish I had thought of painting the POD while it was out !!!
