[Hey guys I put all of this together tonight for less than $90 and the guages are electric and glow blue All on ebay.. saved over $270 I've never bought anything from there before. Really cool

I got this from 928 specialist today to put in front of it all and I found the porsche horn button for it as well on ebay.

I think you've convinced me to remove me side strip. I'll just have to hire someone with a shotgun to protect my doors in carparks

I think the dash covers look very "clean". My dash and pod need a little TLC as well. From where did you order the covers?

How much time did it take to install the two dash covers?

Turned out real nice (even with the increased gap at the mating surfaces).

I'm guessing the three pieces include (2) pieces for the pod and (1) dash cover. I have a '79 and my interior is dark brown, any clues as to which color listed is correct? Hard to tell on the web page.

Jeff, with a 605lbs bench press, I don't think you have to worry too much about someone messing with your car. Unless they are suicidal, that is.

nice work jeff!! that old gal is REALLY coming along!! think I picked up my dash covers from them too, looked pretty good and can be painted to match any interior, although mine warped a bit after 4 yrs near a defroster vent, but not bad enough to worry about... socal heat can trash nearly anything, so if i'd been more careful it probably would still be fine... was a LOT cleaner/easier than cleaning up the wiring/console mess after putting my new leather dash in too...

No Idea but you may be able to call with the year and color and they may be able to hook you up. They are real nice.

If only I could make my presence known before I went into the store I woulod have it.........but short of a loudspeaker, a scene and a live random example I dont think anyone would care haha and probably be less prone to leave a number on the windshield ha

Hey Jeff, The car looks really good so far! Can you post a pic of the instrument cluster once you put those glow gauges in and the chrome cut outs that you got? Also, if you can let me know how hard it was to install the glow gauges and do they light up pretty good at night?

Jeff, Maybe a pictue of you doing that bench press with "The owner of this car" written underneath it put in the window of your parked 928 - that should act as a deterrent. Kind of like those "No radio" signs?!?
