Of course, I might be biased. Here’s mine coming back from restoration.

I have a S1 62 etype FHC and 86 928. Yes, Enzo comment was based on the FHC introduction in 61. I too am biased but think the FHC is better looking than the roadster. The OP picture is a S2 (late 60s it looks like) and burdened with safety design changes for US market which compromised, in my opinion, the pure form and design of the S1 (61-67). These additions culminating in rubber bumperettes in S3 final year may have contributed to its ultimate demise. It did its 14 year run.

Values of S1s are highest and most sought after and I suspect yours is a 6 figure car. Very nice

I like both the etype and 928 designs. The etype is very unique and the 928 may be more timeless but we will see how it holds up when it is 60 yrs old like the etype is.

Lucky guy (or gal)! I agree with you too about the S1 being hands down the most beautiful.

I would love to see a photo of your two side by side.

My choice, I've even spent a considerable amount of time looking at the kits that can be put on a 308 GTB
In the end I couldn't stomach the fake aspect.

Another choice of mine is the 63 spit-window Corvette coupe. Wish I had a picture to post.

Some of you have absolutely horrible taste in cars! (I won't say who)

Not you Mike. You're top 3 are pretty good choices.

I'd add a pontoon-fender Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa to that list, along with a Porsche 550 Spyder and a '57 Corvette.

The Daytona Cobra is one of my favorite cars. Many replicas were racing last weekend during Le Mans Classic and the shape is incredible. So is the sound.

@928cs : I only just saw one of those in real life at a recent Bring A Trailer event in Seattle. It was a Superformance replica but basically the clone of the picture you posted. As an Austin Powers character once said, it was dead sexy.

Cheers

Here ya go Jerry. Always been a favorite of mine, in my top 15. But I like the current Camaro ZL1 as my favorite chevy of all time.

The split window vette is very similar to the Mercedes 300SL Gullwing. Both beautiful designs, but a little too busy, too many lines. Those lines are hidden by the black paint on this one.

This was also a favourite of mine; Same year as my car, 4 seats, V8.
But, at the time you shouldn't go further than 100 miles away from home unless your mechanic was riding shotgun.
