Made fun of them when they were new, hated them for close to 30 years but fell head over heels when the truck showed up…

It's not a beautiful car to my eyes, but such a testimony

The last "real" driving experience, just an epic raw machine. I agree, not beautiful but purposeful...

@abolfaz : You're living the dream, brother. That car is, for sure, a different kind of beauty. Purposeful is the right way to describe it, and just lovely in the execution.

Cheers

Nice pick. When I was in high school, back when these were just high-end Ferraris and not a multi-million dollar asset, there was a guy in the western suburbs of Chicago who took his out all the time. Man, I loved seeing that thing on the road.

Not sure if I picked it or if it picked me. What a car. Trying so justify buying some bbs wheels that I located which imo will make it complete.

Well , i am not gonna jump on the ''not beautiful but..'' bandwagon..And l respect their opinions. This car is outrageously beautiful. IMHO, It is in the same categories of beauties like Kelly Riley, Laura Dern and a Rothweiler (no affiliations between the canine and the 2 actresses..) : You get it or you don't. I DO!! Congratson the new acquisition and please: enjoy , cherish and abuse (up to a certain level Ü) this raw, brutal but yet sleek and agile machine..
And with this video (featuring ex-F1 driver Jacques Lafitte) even Stevie Wonder agrees on the beauty of this machine..

I don't find Jag XJ200 very beautiful. It's actually a bit like F40 and 959. Not pretty but it looks just insanely cool and it's a legendary car. This guy is driving it in Sydney traffic.

Never seen one in the flesh though.

.
Fun thread...
Perhaps it's due to my early adolescence when they came out, but I have always loved the look of the early 70's Pantera's.
Never owned one, so I can't comment otherwise, but strictly from an exterior standpoint, a simple, pure, aerodynamic shape.

Truly the most beautiful car ever made. Trying to buy this one, carbureted in driver quality condition. Lots cosmetically wrong and runs horribly. Owner believes it’s a 10/10.

I still haven't seen another car that's more beautiful than the 928.

The ever popular VW Bug? I saw one yesterday zipping down the road. Quite the comical little beauty... Of course it had Panasport wheels and was lowered...

Imagine how many split windows have been destroyed?

I also love these early italian wedge-cars like de tomaso, maserati, lamborghini etc.. I don't mind the american motor in that one either. I was actually close to buying a de tomaso from America before my 928s, but the deal fell apart... Here in Europe the prices are just out in the blue...

My all time favorite since I was a little boy.

71 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona, the 928 was always in my top 5 with all other +$100k

Those wheel arches on the last few cars are pretty unsightly. The Daytona front arch is too big and the rear arch looks photo shopped it is so weird and too much crap hanging down below.

The only ferrari between 1970 and 2015 that is good looking IMO is the 288GTO. Big Price tags do NOT equal beauty or quality.
