Anyone got one for sale?
John’s running tests on the oil flow. This is with a pulse width modulator on the pump electrical circuit.

I don't know Rob, when you pull it back from 4th into 3rd and put your foot in the water pump, as the engine winds up to 6000rpm...pretty intoxicating. And no pedal dance needed.

For what it's worth, any disparagement of automatics I do is solely ribbing for Roger. And I'm realizing that Roger hasn't even posted in this thread, so the net is that I'm crapping up an otherwise high quality technical thread on transmissions. I'll go repent and working on improving my S/N ratio. Mods feel free to cleanup on Aisle 928 here if you like.

In amy case, there are two approaches to transmission oil jets. Lubrication and cooling. For best lubrication, shoot the jet in at the in mesh of the gears. For best cooling, shoot much higher volume on the top axle gears anywhere else except in mesh.

for me it is the satisfaction of the combined driving experience. Sound of the engine, torque pushing you into the seat, deciding when to shift & purposely shifting through the gears. Feeling the steering input, all while planted in the comfort and carefully laid out interior. All of it combines driving into that perfect concert.
