Brumos 928
I recently rescued this unique 928 from Jacksonville FL, it was ordered for Deborah Gregg while she was the owner of Brumos Motorcars. The data shows a rather basic/ typical 84S USA 5-speed:
I first noticed this car a few years ago scrolling through our random picture thread...posted in 2013. Pearl with no side moldings and Pearl wheels, kind of cool right? I kept going back to those pics and thinking about this car, where it might be, and how someone probably had grabbed it by now:
Deborah Gregg's 928
From 2013:
Fast forward to December 2016... I mentioned this car to Tony77 and it turns out he knew a guy that knew where the car was located...I mean EXACTLY where it was located. A week later I was at a Ferrari Club event at Daytona, had an afternoon to kill so I went to check out the car in Jacksonville. It had deteriorated since 2013:
December 2016:
Finally in March of 2018 a deal was struck, and with the assistance of Gage the car was finally pulled from the weeds and loaded on a trailer:
It sat in my yard for a few weeks, really dragging the neighborhood down:
Then finally this week I turned the pressure washer on it, things are looking up
The car's configuration of pearl with Porsche script interior is probably a one of one. It of course needs EVERYTHING but I think this one may be worth saving.

Interior looked surprisingly good (except for the maggots of course back in 2012) considering it sat outside for all that time.
Love the pearl white. Amazing color.
Awesome save!

Doesn't look that bad at all considering, and it cleaned up well. Looks like it's all there too!
