Jscottie... sounds familiar... but i cant come up with a name
i too am 21, when i got pulled over in the '83, the cop asked me what my dad would think about me speeding in his car as he handed me the ticket... :rolls eyes:
dad just laughed and said 'betcha won't do that again. now go pay the ticket and go to traffic school'
i was scared crapless i'd never drive the car again.

Do you under-16's work illegally to buy these cars or is it just like inheritance/family support? I’ve been pretty much saving up for a nice vehicle since I started working summers at age 16. I admit that I have had my share of financial support though, and I’m very grateful for that. There would be no way for me to afford tuition, and the car without a little help.
Anyways, good work at getting your Porsches so early. Just be responsible.

i got my 944 @ 17 and i will be 20 in March. i split the cost(6500) with my dad. don't get tickets, especially not one for 65 in a 35. get a radar detector if you have to.

Got the black 944 at 15, then the red one (which still dosent roll) last summer, im 17 now and I'll be 18 in November... I think learning to drive in a 944 has made me a MUCH better driver than I could have been, its just so responsive and communicative, especially the NA with the stock suspension; you brake and the car shifts WAY forward onto the front wheels, you give it gass and it comes back onto the rear wheels, that and learning to drive with two bald rear tires has made oversteer much less scary.

here we go. forgot to add how much I paid. $3,000.00 for the car initially, and put about $7,000.00 into it to make it a helluva car. (suspension upgrade, engine rebuild [necessary], and others)
