Burning Brakes
I don't tell people about my car to be. It wouldn't help anything. I will park it next to the teachers and under the cameras in the parking lot so people won't know it's mine.

I bought my 914 when I was 15, put a whole lot into it. I would auto x it but I am having engine problems, so I have been auto xing my dads 951 (dan10101). I am not on rennlist much, im on pelican parts and 914club. I am 17 in 2 weeks, and I think I am the youngest active 914 owner. I am considering making my 914 a dedicated auto x and track car and buying a 944 or 951 for the street, I am very familiar with the 951, and I have raced at 4 auto x's. I strongly suggest you guys going out with the SCCA or your local PCA and trying it out! I bet you'll get hooked.. My dad has been auto xing for a few years, and I have gone to almost everyone he has.
Ya I love going to school in my car. Always an adventure (the car has way more potential as a race car than a daily driver)
I have very stiff suspension with 911 brakes and big 225-50-16's on my 5 lug fuchs. (factory mushy suspension, pathetic brakes, and 165-65-15 4 lugs) Simpson racing harness's, Momo steering wheel, etc..
Front of car, I still need to paint it, but this was to get me on the road
side, can see some of my mods, including my pounding of the fenders to have the tires fit.

got mine earlier this year when I was 16 years old....now I am 16.5 years old? haha
I love it, everyone at school is wowed by it because they have never seen this car and I love the fact that noone else in the parking lot has this car.
On a side note: Got my GURU chips in today yay!

we got our 83 when i was 16. at the time i was driving my 93 tempo. i was convinced i was going to get rid of the tempo and eventually pay the 83 off. it has since become the family garage queen, and dad and i have daily drivers now. just treat it with responsibility, and dont go after chicks who only like you for your car, and you'll do OK.
also, don't do 83 in a 55 in your first porsche. i learned that the hard way. $149 and traffic school... d'oh! at least my ins. went down after that
good luck young ones...

LoL people notice my 944 cause it is so far from stock it looks new. But the car they really notice is my dads C2 Cab. I took it to school once when the rents were away and it was a big hit. Oh by the way word to the wise if you ever want to take ur dads car out and don't want him to know dont back into a light post.
