yep, he went to the stretch your legs event. It is that low because he cut and rewelded the rear suspension.

Took some gorgeous pics on my victory drive after I finished installing the late parking brake handle. SUCH an improvement. The early style ones were designed like crap and mine was totally mangled. And yes I realize I shouldn't be taking my ra-1 slicks off roading

comfort before looks!!! Air conditioning is in progress. That's more important when 100 degree days are starting now...

Is the late style parking brake handle a straight bolt in or do you have to mod anything? Always hated my handle.

Straight bolt in!!! One of the easiest and most worthwhile mods. There's a difference in the position of the cable hook though; you have to let out some cable (easy bolt+nut slider adjustment thingy), hook it, then tighten till satisfied. Sounds more complicated than it actually is haha

Scored at Goodwill today! Be jealous...

It's a 1983 edition Chilton manual. Covers all brands and models of import (mainly sports) cars from the late 70s up to 83, including the 944 and other Porsche models. It's about 4-5 inches thick and in perfect condition Has some awesome diagrams of engines and transmission and so much info, including suspension alignment specs WHICH I couldn't find online for the life of me! Adding it to my vault of amazing Porsche/944 literature

My buddy with his lifted expedition parked next to me at school today. Funny how small it makes the '44 look.

I would seriously ditch the checkers special racing buckets, I'm sorry but 150 bucks of seat isn't very safe!

Cool to see another kid get into Porsches at a young age, I bought my first 914 when I was about your age, and built it up during college.... still miss that ****ty lil car!

No worries, I plan on getting rid of them in the near (months?) future and recovering my original seats... Can't wait to have fresh comfort seats. Plan on making them black vinyl with black/grey/white or black/grey/red plaid center inserts

I love plaid. Or should I go with the psychedelic pink-checkered trippy interior like some 924s had??

I think a red plaid would look ok haha. Theres a real good shop on Cave Creek called Able Auto Uphosltery, redid the seats on my saab, and 914, they did a awesome job!
