Like I said in another thread. Once you know what you are doing, jobs take alot less time.

And when lower the car down drive it around or roll it to get the suspension to settle out. The tires will tend to tuck under the car after being lifted and will settle out with a few wheel rotations.

Pro shops use slip plates to allow the tires move back to the natural position when doing alignments and other suspension work. You can make slip plates with a ziploc bag with some dish soap in it. This will allow the tire slide around on the ground. Or just roll it around.

Way i do it is to set height at front so the your a-arms are parallel to the ground as they came from the factory then adjust the rears so the sill heights f&r are the same. It's a good starting point.

I haven't finished, nor am I adjusting my ride height. I need to know, so that I can compare what these 12" springs are capable of with coilover, compared to stock height.

Finished the coilover install today! Well almost completely. Will drive around a bit on it tomorrow and check the ride height to see if I'll be happy or not... That wasn't a very fun project - though quite the learning experience!

Pics will come tomorrow after my morning Dunkin Donuts coffee run...

My turbo S slightly lowered as stated before
Front 13 inches fender to center, rear 12.5 inches

Rocker at front edge of door 6 inches from metal to ground. Rear is 6 inches.

This is with stock tire sizes front and rear.

Here's the car as it is now... Have yet to measure the height though. This is on 12" 200# springs, new KYB struts, lowest coilover sleeve setting (with uncut stock lower perch), new control arms, and weltmeister poly-graphite bushings...

Reading here made me want to go out an measure mine. Never measured it since i lowered it. It's 5.5 inches alround from rocker and 12.5 inch front from fender to wheels center and 12 inch rear. This with 30mm lowering springs up front and enlarged excentrics in the rear.

I'm ~6" from rockers all around. ~13" from both wheel center to fender.

EDIT: Just followed the instructions via that Lindsay Racing link above... With coilover sleeves at lowest setting, was 12 mm (~1/2 inch) lower than stock...
Emailing Jason.

Hate to say I told you but I TOLD YOU. I gave you a real world solution, 3x 944's all with coilovers, been there, done that.

One positive thing, 2.5 springs are relatively cheap and available everywhere in any imaginable spring rate and size. Good Luck
