Hate to say I told you but I TOLD YOU. I gave you a real world solution, 3x 944's all with coilovers, been there, done that.

One positive thing, 2.5 springs are relatively cheap and available everywhere in any imaginable spring rate and size. Good Luck

I was already half way through the install so figured I might as well finish it.
I'm OK with the ride height as it is, so I can deal with it for a little while.
Worst case, I buy a new set of springs off Summit. Surprised at how cheap they are! [link]

Considering it's just a street car, and partially doing this for the looks of it, I doubt a little oversteer is a very big deal... I want the springs to adjust so that near highest setting is equal to what I'm at now. So I can tune to my preference.

Swapped out my 12" springs for 10" on friday. Took me about 10 minutes once I learned I could keep the shocks attached to the hub only had to disconnect the top engine bay nuts
Adjusted to drop the car ~1.25" inches. Already bottomed out the valence once yesterday

not sure. maybe its been too long and the time to edit has passed. some forums do not allow the original poster to edit the thread after a half an hour of it being posted or edited originally.

I think it's great. I'm running 10" 200 lb. The range of the sleeves, or at least my gestimate, is that on highest setting it'll be basically stock height, and right now I have room to go down to like -2"... If I cut the original lower spring perch, I have room to go lower. Not that I want to. Haha

perfect, now i wish the back was easier. i broke a breaker bar trying to lower with the eccentric bolt so i gave up that way, i really want to remove the t bars and go complete coilover.
