Dave, I have not heard from you for some time, still in the area, no good news for me, i think the head gasket gave out, took mine for a drive today and white smoke out the exhaust! pulled the plugs and did not see anything, trying to see if it could be anythind else! have a good one! dave

Mazdave, I did get the 944 from Florida I had talked to you about, it is in my garage the battery was dead, has not moved since 2009, I did charge up the battery, there is no coolant in radiator, no fuel in tank and all I have done is clean up the engine compartment, I would like to take off the timing belt cover and see if the belt has broken, if not I could probably try to start the engine. I don't want to do anything until I can verify the belt is good.

That is a very beautiful 944 you have. I found one a couple of months ago in that exact color combo and have been working on getting it in good running condition as well. Working on replacing vacuum lines and related parts to get a smooth idle.

I am in Eugene Oregon I need to clean it up and take some pictures. what parts were you interested in?

Hi Great job on the 944 clean up! Are you by chance interested in another grey 944? 87 w 116k miles on it........interior is fairly good conditon which is why I bought the car....but alas a local pca member is tempting me with yet another black 944S2........
