Nashio - I'm working right now to get caught-up.
Right now I'm probably a 2-week turn-around. After the holiday, that should be shorter (usually only a few days).

A good number of the kits out there are owned by non-rennlist people...

You know I can understand being backed up but don't say things like "I'll ship it tomorrow" and then don't. Its just bad business.

Have you thought about selling your product to a vendor and having them distribute it?

Cameron,
You re-chip is en route - I apologize that it took some time.
I do the best I can, sometimes I miss things.

That said, you car is not a normal case. I have never had a single A-Tune customer need the changes that you have. Custom adjustments take time.

How many people are willing to develop reasonably priced tuning options for a 30 year old car in their spare time? Josh has such a wealth of knowledge and does an awesome job developing improvements for our cars and, most importantly, explaining how they work. Relax, RealLongName.

Josh, would you be willing to do the 24-28 pin conversion in person if I drive up there?

Sure.
I'm not available this weekend, but let me know when you want to come-up.

While I am not positive I doubt this is Josh's primary source of income. And considering how well the product works I didn't mind the waiting. This is one of those items worth the wait IMHO.

Yes I've had mine for some time now but a couple of repairs had to be made. Its a great product, I just had an early run with a bug. But he says he really sent a replacement now so I'm not going to discuss it further.

With all the R&D, other projects and being a newly-wed, Josh's doing an amazing job in a Cottage industry. I'm impressed by his success and the response this forum has generated towards his product. I'm just getting caught up on my restoration of my '87 and the kit is definitely on my list of things to add. Good on ya, Josh.

So where are the data, e.g. dyno runs, to indicate the independent effects
of each variable in this mod, i.e. the MAF, the timing map changes, and the
fuel map changes? Combined effects based on dyno runs are of no value
in determining the true independent effect of the key promoted 'performance'
product, i.e. the MAF.

This type of mod has been hyped for the 911 3.2 and the 964 to max the
selling price versus just selling a 'performance' chip. When tested, the
data indicated that the MAF versus an AFM results in little to no gains
by itself. As with most 'performance' mods for stock engines, it's all about
'pushing' the timing.

Read here about 'performance' tuning:

https://rennlist.com/forums/911-foru...-the-myth.html

And then read here to see how the ignition maps are 'pushed':

http://www.systemsc.com/tests.htm
