You know it was on the 944 that Audi perfected their double sided galvanized bodies. That's why many of our cars still look so good. NO RUST! Look at just about any other car of their vintage ('specially here in Salty New England)...and look at the amount of iron oxide!!

You should really try and get one of the '84 Cross-Fire 'Vettes. They're the best!
And you're right, Camaros and Firebirds are built to a much higher standard of quality. They should have Toyota badges.

I have owned a '98 Eclipse GS-T and a 951 could put the smack on that car anyday.

Everyone just let this post die and go away

we are not letting it die because many of us want to purchase his S2 and relieve him of this burden. I stated before I will trade you for the car you love a 1991 Eclipse GSX or I can give you cash for the S2, post pics and contact info, if the car is good cosmetically I will wire you the cash tonight.

Damn, you must be a good salesman to sell a POS like that S2 in 12 Hours! God knows nobody in their right mind wants a hot-rod VW!

How did you do it???
Did the new owner have to get tow truck to take it away??

Those of us who have owned the 80's vettes know how well made they are. <img src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" border="0" alt="[hiha]" />

Let him buy one.

A buddy of mine has a C5 and you should here him cry every time I spank his well made V8 ( which has been in the shop 2 times the last 6 months for OIL leaks) and this was when I was still a 2.5.

i put it in my LA TIMES classified ad yesterday and some guy called, came, drove, and offered me $3000. I said 'NO" and he said "ok" and offered me full amount that i was asking for. True I could of probably gotten more (around $5k to $6k) for it but i dont like the hassle of selling a car. SO i put the ad out cheap so that I can get rid of it fast.

Hmm,
You bought the car new... Still have it and bought a second.....

And only NOW you find out there are junk????

Hmm, If I buy junk I am smart enough to figure it out vear early on and dump it FAST. I and sure as hell don't buy another one! :rolleye:

To get taken one is an error. To be taken twice takes STUPIDITY!

vetts are an american ICON...and a true sports car that handles better than vw 944's and 911's

vetts are more reliable than 944s. NO OIL LEAKS...thats right.no leaks!
