Is the original poster the same schmuck that told me I wanted too much for my S2 with 50k less miles and the work done so it isnt a POS like the POS he just sold?

Did this idiot just sell the whole car for what he could have sold the head and rims for. Bet it had the M030 rear end he could have gotten $$ for.....

Where is that dik Bates when we need him to ream someone out, or AMAF to go kick some butt?

Holy s&it my car isn't a porsche. I guess that means the Road & Track article i read (and still have) in 77 on the 924 was correct.

Learn something new every day huh?!

JJK,

I can understand how you don't like your 944, however, I cannot understand how you think it is a VW. It was designed by Porsche engineers for VW. Then Porsche purchased the rights to it from VW when VW decided not to produce it. Since it was designed by Prosche engineers, it is obviously a Porshe. As for it being manufactured my Audi, this is true, for SOME years and models. ALL of the "Turbo S" cars were manuafactured in Porsche factories. Designed by Porsche, manufactured by Porsche, sounds like a Porsche to me.

anyone interested in my1988 n/a 944 for $4400? it has 88k miles. Im the original owner. have all service records. yes oil leaks and costs about 500 bucks to replace oil pan. otherwise in good condition. gray color. manual. im in LA
have all records/receipts. recent tuneup, new clutch, t-belt/water pump, motor mounts, etc.
YES, thats why im selling it..im sick and tired of all these little "routine maintnance" on these POS's! if i had a asian or american car, i wouldnt have to replace "motor moounts" do "front end seal" "water pump every 40k miles" etc.

im gonna get me a vette! GO AMERICAN! if you folks like vw 944's so much, then go worship hitler in nazy germany! Im an american patriot!

How sure are that all the parts on that vette are American?

And I'm sure the German listers on here just loved that last **** comment.

JohnD....wouldn't you say it's time for the boot?

followed this post for it's entertainment value.
However, I find "I'm an American Patriot" (implying anyone not driving a Vet is somekind of subversive) and the **** comments offensive.

I second the motion to show this jack-*** the door. <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" />

JJK: how much did you pay for the S2? I'm assuming that you took a huge loss by selling it for $3k. (IE: you were stupid for selling it for so little!)

Also: If you really want to sell your car here, it's best not to bash 944 owners so much. Maybe it's me, but that's not good saleman tactics...

And... and the end of the day, your Corvette is still, well, a Chevy. Hmm, my mom-in-law has a Chevy Cavalier: maybe I should upgrade: sell my 944S2 and get a Cavalier! CFI baby! YO! Put some fine dubs on it, and go cruisin to bust some caps. (Ok, my street slang needs some work)
Disclaimer: I really do think the C5 Vette is a great car, but the 80's models aren't worth much in my book

And if you're the original owner of the 88 n/a, then juding by your maturity level in these posts, you were about -3 years old when you bought the car! (That's negtive three years old!)

Hey, if you're ever on the east coast, there's a guy I'd like to introduce you to: he goes by the name: AMAF.

Guys, let's just ignore this fool.
