Fabilichus, do you know exactly what was done with the crankcase ventilation in those photos? Where does the filter next to the fuel rail go? Is the auxiliary air valve still connected?

yea there's two hookups for extra vacuum...one is crank vent out of the top of the AOS that goes to the JBoot. other comes out of the bottom or the front of the intake manifold and that's where the IACV/ISV hook to

i think fabilichus' fuel rail one is the AOS hookup and the extra little breather near the main filter is prob what IACV/ISV pulls from. technically if that were true, the extra idle air isn't metered...not that it's a big deal hehe

Try to keep is clean as possible.Do not add multiple colors, like red, yellow or any other bright color. This picture of yours is so clean, like hot rod style where most hoses, wires etc. are hiden and cannot be seen at all.Keep up buildin it that way.

ah, though you were on #3. What was the cause of the low oil pressure? You have a cracked pickup tube at one point didn't you?

yea hehe that was orig engine. i just ran the **** outta it. i replaced the rod bearings but that wasn't it. it was prob something else much more complicated. i just keep on running it until it died. lasted all summer of track events hehe. i swapped over my reinforced pickup to this engine
