Are you covering the OME one with Cf or has you made moulds to reproduce them?

+1 on the molds. Additionally, you can use more layers of lower weight fabric to make the cloth wrap more easily. WHen I did my dash (fiberglass, though), I had to cut some slits in it to make it wrap.

It`s quite trixi to make a nice cf parts and it`s take a lot of tryout to get things to get it wright
We has spent thousands of euros making mistakes during years and still now sometimes things run out wrong.
In this office you can learn things reading in the web, watching YouTube or going to some specialist training centre. But some things you just has to learn on your self making mistakes and then just study why it went wrong and how to improve.
Next monday I`m gone put some pics of new parts for the 951 as rear wide fenders and bumper.

You has do do every thing at lease in vacuum but some parts will need infusion, heat or autoclave. Some parts has to be done in splitted moulds.

Bumper
One of the most important thing to make good parts is to make really good and stables moulds.
This is the new wide rear bumper (+80mm) and the weight is 0.870kg (1.91lb).
It ha 3 layers of cf and 2 armide and it`s made splitted in two parts for easier transport by mail.

Rear fender
I have just finished to make the left rear fender positive pre mould . It`s 1.6inches (40mm) wider than the OEM unit and the wheel arch is cutted out so that the wheel doesn't touch it on a low race car.

I'm curious as to how you make the molds.... The molds seem to be key to the parts coming out decent. I would love to attempt something like this however I just don't have the first clue as to how to go about making molds....

If you have the OEM part it`s easy just make a copy of it with: Fiber glass, silicone, plaster or what ever that keep the shape. Some it`s posible will go wrong the first times....
