Jan,

I just saw your question now. Sorry. I have the cup suspension and swaybars. The rear uses the stock 86 torsion bars (23.5 mm) and helper springs. I bought the kit from VCI in 1991. More car details here.

Regards,

doug

Awesome, can't wait to see the new panels. I am still very interested in one of your vents for the hood behind the intercooler. So once you are up and running, ready to build again, please let me know.

We did redesign it to make it better and with gloss finish inside but we did just one for our own engine. The true is that it's was a lot of days (weeks) of work to make that unit.

Default CAyenne engine? Noooo!

I'm back with this little car!
As we have been very busy making ouer new work shop we had no time for this little car but now we start again with it.
We had a test with the Cayenne Turbo S engine but it's an horrible big and heavy engine with a weight of 292kg (643lbs)!!!!!
In udder words it exist many trucks smaller with less heavy engines.
So at the moment we are with out engine..

Perhaps the VW 5 cylinder would work well for you?

holy **** that is one seriously huge big-block P engine.

Jan,

thanks a lot for providing the empirical proof of what has so many times been stated.

guess we can use these as stock photos for the next 20 'I wanna put a Cayenne motor in my dead 944' threads.
