Dunno, first I have to decide what I'm going to do with the bottom end. Crank can be repaired for a reasonable amount, but if I want to get rid of the scoring on the cylinder walls I either need to spend quite a bit having them fixed or purchase another block as a replacement. I can also put it back together as-is, but feels wrong to replace everything else and leave the rough block

Thrust bearing was badly worn. Discovered the issue because under heavy braking the clutch pedal would get soft, pics are on the last page of this thread.

We took it for what will probably be the last weekend trip of the year: antique stores, ice cream, dinner at my parents' farm, then back to the city. It's soon going away for the winter, but it's running and handling really well after all the work I've done, and I'll really miss it.

My projects this winter include: fixing the hatch squeak, fixing the power steering leak, giving it a better stereo for trips like these, and making the body work all the same colour.

I guess after 25 years it was time for those ugly pinstripes to go. I recommend the 3M pinstripe removal wheel. It took me 30 - 45 minutes to do the whole car includiing the "porsche" decal on the back.

I spent 6.5 hours washing my car yesterday!!! Well actually I hand washed her, then I spent multiple hours with polishing compound... Waxed her, armor all'd everything rubber -bring the black back-, and cleaned all the glass.

Hours well spent! I can see my reflection in it; sorry no pictures.. But pictures won't do it justice anyway

Armor all = BAD!!!
On black rubber trim use Forever Black if it is faded. Armor All is bad for you dash, plastics and rubber.

I think I'm going to take mine and wash /wax it. May have go have it detailed since they did great job. Pic are coming.

I replaced the broken V-belts and broken tensioner as well as the missing bolt on the rear air-con bracket which caused the damage.

semi metallic pads out back

Got the 3L back in and tightened down. Cleaning and routing harness and replacing old clips.
