Right on Dave!
They were the first thing I did on my car. When I got the car the old ones couldn't even hold the hood up.

I have the lead for laptop tucked in beside passenger seat, and display could be left loose or just velcroed on, so still could be taken back to stock easily. I gotta say I really love it

Check your AFM wiring.

When I still had an AFM in my car, and I'd be messing around with something, unplug it, and forget to plug it back in... the car would start and immediately stall.

Rocket,
The van idea sounds awesome.

I'm still in that stage with my 944 where I'm refurbing everything I can find to get it back to good and safe working order.
It was running and straight when I got it this summer, that just is not good enough.
I've been deleting/upgrading wiring harnesses, replacing 100lbs carpet padding with new sound deadening, as well as replacing all the little broken stuff. This car is totally becoming much more than when it was designed.
I'm quite sure the newer stuff will find it's way into the car as I know I will never be done with her.

Got a little overspray of water on the cover as she sits in bay 3 of my garage while I was hosing down bays 1 & 2 during this nice above freezing winter warm spell (34 degrees today)

Modified a spare early DME to have a "DME power" out plug - so I can easily hook up a voltmeter to see if the DME has +12v from the DME relay. The two wires go to pin 35 (+12v from relay) and pin 19 (a ground). I drilled out a small plastic port that looks like it would have gone to a FQS but was blank.

Michael I assume this will tell you if you have a bad DME relay ?

That's the idea. I'm chasing down a problem where the engine dies after I start it (I have a thread somewhere) and I need a quick way to see if the cutoff is happening upstream, or downstream of the DME. If I have voltage even after the engine dies, it's DME-forward, because the ignition switch is still 'on.'

My fusebox (in the worst location ever) gave me problems in the past and I'm mainly trying to eliminate that as a variable. DME relay has been changed multiple times now... running out of things to replace before I throw in the Megasquirt towel.

Default Installed New Race Seat & Wheel

I have been ripping out the interior for my track project S2 and finally got my new Sparco seat and wheel in. Still going with other projects as well, but this was nice to get somewhat finalized

Are those EVO 2's?

How do you like them? How do they fit?
Thanks,
Pat

started to pull all the ancient fuel lines down and to try to get the filter unhitched. Removed the pump and a couple of other hoses...hope to replace with AeroQuip..fuel filter and line is hopelessy stuck/ruster together. Replacing both fuel filters, and perhaps the pump with all the lines..Next stop..Transaxle and Torque tube pull...so I can remove the tank for cleaning...Drained about 3/4 of a gallon of NASTY gas out of the tank and lines...Next time I'll bring soap...LOL
