Drove it for 5 minutes, just to keep the fluids moving.

Drove it around the neighborhood today. Last week I ordered a few parts for it so I have some projects planned shortly.

nothing to the 944.

took my acura rsx to the justtires for alignment. got that done. coming out of the work bay, serpetine belt snapped. called friend to lookup length of belt needed. walked 1/2 mile to autozone. bought the belt. walked back to justtires. popped hood, snaked belt in....there's like 6 inches of slack. WTH!!! called tow truck and asked for quote. $150 grrrr no way. called friend over with a wrx. drove to autozone and bought a tow strap. wrx towed me back home. 200 ft from my driveway, we make a right turn and the tow strap snaps. push push push. yay it's in my garage....i have a backup belt. let's just put this one on....dammit it's a hair too short! ok...call around..autozone guy doesn't want to measure his belts. pepboys is closed. advanced auto is closed. oreilly's...ok girl picks up. yes...they have some 7ribs in stock!....NOO she can't find a tape measure to save her life. store closes in 5 minutes. LKJDFLSJFJLKLFSDFKLJL!JOIJ!JJ!!PJ!J!!!

long day.....especially since yesterday was a full day to swap the suspension. and i'm gonna have to drive the 944 to work tomm. hopefully oreilly's has the belt i need in stock.

Drove it, it smells fishy from the spray glue. Carpet and sound dampening is fantastic. Stereo seems to be skipping when playing from iPod, occasionally. Might need to get that fixed. Sprayed the vinyl armrest with some black spray paint, it seems to be good, so I'm thinking that's the right product to do the rest.

I ordered a Tial 38mm wastegate, and lost my under bumper bat wing thingy to some rusty bolts and a high speed simulation. I'm looking at a CPR V1 splitter to replace it with.

DIY Door Resto :]

Painted over the chocolate with a satin-sheen black spraypaint, as well as door handles. Did the lower panel with a near-grey-beige color match from a paint store. Looks pretty good. PMed back a fellow with a black interior about some parts. Looked at it. Lots.

Decided that fixing the bat wing thingy won't happen.... oh well. There really isn't a plausible way for me to reattach the two pieces.

built and installed an entire 3 inch exhaust system...and found a beautiful tapping noise coming from loose rockers in the left bank of the engine...almost lost the engine to that one, lucky catch.
