psh, even my NA at 5000ft could hang onto the tail of any 911 up there

all that braking they have to do before the slightest curve in the road makes for an interesting drive..

The electric car whine is from bad timing/balance shaft tensioner due to improper installation (most likely the balance shaft idler roller thats supposed to have .8mm clearance and NEVER touching the belt not running).

928 is a v8 so its better balaced naturally and not needing stupid balance shafts...

From what I was able to find, you started an "official" 928 power thread, and you nor anyone else (Murf or that other person) posted a dyno chart for you. I'm still waiting to see scale measurements too.

And you told me to search? You have +28k posts! I can't search through that many posts! Post *****...

And doesn't YOUR dyno chart belong in YOUR "official" power thread? How about you put your chart in that thread?

928's are exceptional cars for the money. If you don't have the means for a 928, 944's are certainly good, less expensive, alternates.

Post *****, yes I am. Thanks!

As for not finding it, not my problem. If you want to see them, keep looking.

You keep asking and that is still my answer.

Since I'm 99% sure I know who you really are, you already have a copy.

good info. When I used to drive long distances frequently (about 380 miles, 1 day trip) I used to - and still do - look at MPG of the cars. Not so much from the "how much did that cost" part of the equation, but more of the inconvenience of having to stop and fuel up frequently on the PA/OH turnpike rather than driving straight through.

<sarcasm>
Yes, because I am poor, the 944 was the only car with a Porsche badge on the front that I could afford at the time. I can only dream that one day I can afford to own a 928 or a 911.

Lets get back on topic. Will a 928 s4 that has been sitting for a year and needs some work be a nightmare?
Or is it possible that I will end up with a car that I like better than my 944 na ?

I can purchase the s4 for $4k so the price is good, but I know what your all going to say run run run!!!
