Default Middle Light Bar, Yay or Nay

Hey just wonderin what you guys thing of the middle light bars that say either porsche or 944. I had one that said porsche and i took it off immediatly, but now im left with 4 big holes . Im just personally not a fan of them.

Anyone know where i can buy a liscense plate frame to fit the stadard holes since in MA the plates have to be right under the plate lights. Would really love to avoid drilling holes!

Try posting a request in the rennlist recycler forum, too.

I must be weird because I kind of like mine. I'd delete it if the was a more modern taillight upgrade.

Other than a 968 rear end that is.

Whoever came up with those taillight panels should die of gonorrhea and rot in hell.

I think they are for people who are concerned that their Porsche badges are not visible enough at night. I'm sure it's frustrating to pass people and worry that they think your car is an RX7 or that they did not take notice of it at all. That would be vexing.

What we really need are some indiglo crests and a siren that blasts 'Por-Sche...Por-Sche...Por-Sche.'

I could give a flying F#$% what people think I am driving! As a matter of fact...I would like the light bar with no lights and if it did not say 'Porsche'

Really.....I do like the way it looks. In my eyes it makes the back of the car flow a little more....something our cars did not do from the factory until the 968 ****.

I had considered taking it off...but when I stand back and look...compared to the old 84 I had without one....I prefer the light panel...even if it did not light up!

So Joel...what color indiglo crest are you buying?

Mine doesn't say porsche, but still it is stupid that it says the same thing again less than a foot away.

It reminds me of this

i had one on my car when i bought it. I actually didnt mind the look, what i didnt like was the plate on the bumper. Now ive welded all the holes and made it right again.

- i think i have a couple plate brakets if you need one.

I like them. I would install one if I could find one in good shape with nothing at all on it...
