3 years ago, I was looking into updating the taillights. Mainly removing the black seams and having the inner edges taper back to the panel where the license plate goes. The upfront cost is tough, but eventually I may try and get a group buy together if enough listers are interested. It just kills me when I see an old volvo with practically the same lights.

Also, that’s why I'd considered tinting them as contrast on the black seams would not be so apparent.

While I'm not a stock purist, I really hated the look on my 2nd 944 with the plate drilled through the bumper.
