Racer
The Canadian series had some serious names involved including Ron Fellows who now owns Mosport; Rick Bye who now works for Porsche Cars Canada; Richard Spenard who coached Paul Tracy, Patrick Carpentier and others; Bill Adam TV guy and IMSA racer, Jaques Villeneuve Indy car driver and uncle to the F1 JV, Scott Goodyear Indycar racer, Ludwig Heimrath Can Am racer, Gianni Fiarranno Daytona 24hr winning crew chief. Interesting thread on a memorable series and series of cars.

Someone could have built that out of any 951...why essentially ruin a factory race car with historic appeal like that?
$76000? If I put that much in mine, it would be essentially the same as that.
Any premium the seller feels he can assign to it being a Cup car and thus historic is long, long gone gone as far as I am concerned.
I see a 25-30k race car, and that's at the high end.

^ all of those bids by no feedback users are shill bids likely by the seller or an accomplice to run up the bidding price, but no one bit the hook, so they retracted, and the auction ended... if I had to bet.

A few pics of my Turbo Cup car (and a bunch of other nice Porsche's) are in this gallery from the inaugural Rallye Porsche Mariemont event in Cincinnati.

Any Knowledge about TurboCup/Escort #101?
I owned the 1987 TurboCup #101 from March 1993 to September 2007. It seems to have disappeared. Anybody have some info about her whereabouts or track activities?
