Default Oh God! I'm hooked!

Now that I've had my car for a few weeks, I'm really getting good at driving it. I love doing the smokey burnouts. My brother-in-law showed me how to pop the clutch and hit the brake so the car just sit there and BURNS! I'll be looking for some new rear tires this weekend. I'm going to tey and burn them til they pop Friday night at the local cruizin. I went out last night and raced an older Corvette. It was a 95 with auto. We met at the Shell ststion and decided to see which car was the fastest. I BEAT him. Man, what a rush!! We measured out a 1/4 mile and raced. He was winning at first but when I hit second I caught him and passed him in third. I was ahead by 2 cars at the end of the 1/4. I could have beat him more but I smokes the tires too much in first. Man! A Vette! Thoses are supose to be the fastest American cars, right? Porsche power, there is no substitute!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so glad you got that nice Lindsey upgraded car.

Now go blow the tyres out and rip off the back end, or take your racing to a track.

Strret racing is not tolerated here.

1st The tranny on your car can not handle dumping the clutch
2nd With the HP you are running make sure you put a grand to the side. That is what a new clutch will cost if you do the work yourself.. Keep dumping the clutch..

3rd.. Look for a local DE and learn to drive your car. The 944/951 will get you killed stock if you don't know how to drive it... On second thought... I think the guys here are just waiting for your.. PARTING OUT thread after you wrap that thing around a tree...

Be careful and respect that car because she can and will get away from you. I know it is hard not to use those ponies but you need back off until you know the car and for the love of god do not let your brother-in-law drive your car... Nobody that knows how to drive a Porsche would ever show you how to do burn outs.

944.guy........at least read the "What can I do to prevent this?" part:

http://www.tech-session.com/kb/index..._v2&id=115&c=4

You're basically driving a road race car like a drag car, and that's well out of its design parameters. Maybe pick up a something like '69 Chevelle for your straight-line jollies

Best of luck,
Brian

YEP....start saving your money for clutch, tranny, possible hospital bills...etc.........why would you drive a Porsche like it was muscle car drag racer.....won't be long before it's down....these cars are meant for road course racing (track of course)....not for drag racing.....get off the streets if you are going to that......"There is No Substitute"

If the interior is black, I'll take whatever doesn't end up in the tree. Just try not to screw up the dash OK.

I'm pretty sure that's not called driving... that's called stupidity.
