These stories crack me up! Where to begin....
My father tells me I have to drive his 74 Corvette home, about 25 miles. He tells me to drive right to the house. Yeah right. I'm 17 and I'm driving a Vette! I proceed to pick up my gf and take her to an ice cream stand. A car with four big guys in it backs out of a spot right into the nose of the Vette. I must've looked like a wild man because after I stopped yelling at them they apologized and went on their way. Luckily, the 74s had the rubber nose and the hit only rubbed some paint off. I then returned the car to home as I was told!
Near the end of my senior year in HS I bought a then 2 year old 77 Camaro Type LT. It was black on black, with a half tonneau tan roof. It looked really sharp. A couple of years later, well into my party years, my friend and I were traveling through a mall exit road. I failed to negotiate a corner in the snowy weather, jumped the curb and smashed head on into a light pole. Seatbelts? We didn't wear no stinkin' seatbelts back then. Drunk? You bet your ***! My other friends in a separate car caught up to us and wisely told me to get out of there before the cops arrived. I ended up center punching the front bumper (that cool, chromed bumber), killing the lower valance, but otherwise the car was unharmed. My friend's knee smashed my glovebox and my head bounced off the steering wheel and left a nice rasberry on my forehead. Other than that we were okay.
Fast forward many years to when I got my 944 running. I bought it after it sat for 5 years in a garage. Once the belts, hoses, fluids were changed I took it out for the first time. It was raining. The tires had to be at least 10 years old, lots of tread, but hard and dry rotted. After determining that I had plenty of time to make the left turn out of my street before that 18 wheeler and the stack of cars behind it held me up, I hit the gas, shifted to second, and the back end started to come around. I started to spin right under the trailer of the 18 wheeler. Luckily I caught the slide before it went all the way around and narrowly missed the rear tires of the trailer! I got rid of those tires two days later.

Well i am only 18 and have quite a few already.
I kinda have forgot the order of these so i will just say them. And first let me say my dad has a huge temper. Like throwing stuff cussing calling me stupid stuff like that.
So first one
I was on a road rally with my friend in my zx3 focus cuz it was our "rally car". So going and i liked to pull the brake on it around turns to drift. Well i wasn't having a good night cuz usually i am really good at it. Well i slid into a few shalllow ditches did nothing except ruin our score. Well then going around one turn to fast the front tires didnt catch in the gravel slid right into a huge ditch i mean this thing was deeper than the car was tall. And the grass was wet so i was worried if i stopped i would get stuck so i just give it throttle and barely make it out. So needless to say drove a little more careful the rest of the night. And no damage happened.
Second One
It was winter and at the community college by where the parking lots were un plowed since it was christmas break. Drifting around for about an hour and i need to go get gas. So i am leaving and after drifting all that time around light poles and being able to control it i again didnt get traction with the front wheels and nailed a curb and the front tire was rubbing in the wheel well. Well it defintely needed to get towed home. So i knew i couldnt tell my dad what i had been doing. SO we slowly drive it like 3 blocks to this apartment complex and park it and say the slope of the parking lot made me slide into the curb. And i even had my friend burnout on the curb to make a black mark. He yells and cusses and says i was driving too fast and i was like yea i was. He looks at it and the lower a-frame was bent bad. Had to load it on the trailor and next day went to the junkyard got one and put it on and went drifting same place that night.
Next one
A few days later on christmas eve was in my sisters car to return it to her cuz we had just put all new belts on it. Well i decided to stop and see my girlfriend at work. Well i was leaving and got hit by a van. It wasn't my fault and still got yelled at and the van had no insurance and liek took out the whole passenger rear end of it but o well.
Another one
In the rally focus again. On a rally and we missed a turn so i pulled the brake whip a nice 180. And flying down the road see my turn and slow down. Well i guess i didnt slow down enough cuz once again my front tires lose traction in the gravel and i slide right into a telephone pole. Back it out drive it home. Lots of damage. Call my dad adn tell him. Very mad Very Mad becuase like 2 weeks before that i had gotten a speeding ticket. Well it turned out ok cuz we were trying to sell it. And the insurance company totaled it anyway and paid out a lot more than what we would have gotten out of it.
Another one
In my dads company truck. We live about an hour away from a junkyard unless ur me or my dad. Well i am coming back and going through this town and like the town has liek 2 people that live there. I am not really speeding that much and a dog runs out in front of me. I slam my brakes and swerve onto the side of the road. And i was just watching the dog and after missing the dog i look up and am about 3 inches from a telephone pole. That would have sucked.

I was leading and going down the straight part and some girls we had met the week before call me. I answer it and am talking to them and go through a couple of the curves slow. Then they hang up and i look down at the phone to end the call for like a half second. Well an S curve got to me really quick. And i knew i wasnt going to make the curve so i jump the ditch and head into and through this field. At about 70 mile an hour. Very scary and shooken up. So i didnt participate in the burnout contest we had.

I pulled a Rock (WHADDYA KNOW!?) and went sliding into a pointy curb. I about cried. Dented the fender a bit, didnt damage the paint though. Xsboost helped me fix it, it wasnt too bad but I was scared out of my mind.
I was at an interesection turning left and i had a wendys biggie drink in one hand and my other hand on the wheel the roads were wet after a rain and my front tires are bald as hell. I go through the curve turning and i didnt shift because my biggie drink, I turn and the rpms are going nice and high into 5000 and i go slidy slide and try to correct but go slidy slide the other way into a curb and the drink ended up all over me. All of these people were staring at me like **** hes a dumbass.

sorry for the long post it turned out a lot longer than expected. Hope it made a few good laughs.
We had elantra that me and my friends would take on this wide gravel road and just whip it around and drift a lot. Well i had been doing 180s and it stirred up a lot of dust and i was going towards a 90 degree right hander i knew it was coming up. But i couldnt really see. I was like " is that turn comi" right in the middle of that i see the turn and the ditch and the cornfield. hit the brakes nail the ditch and into the cornfield luckily nothing happened and bags didnt deploy. Broke the plastic guard underneath the engine. Just cut it the rest of the way off and no one ever knw.
Had an old beat up escort with self made side exhaust. Well i wanted to take it "cruisin" that night so i put a plate on it and rig up another head light so i am not a piddidle. Well in town i see some smoke and smell somthing buning. Pop the hood and since the headlight assembly was broke the bulb fell out half way and melted the plastic. So i had to buy a bottle of water and pour on it to stop it melting. Well took it out and went on our way. Well about 30 min later the other one starts to do the same thing but a lot worse like there were flames and stuff. Get it out but now had to drive about 30 miles home at 1 in the morning with no headlights. Made it home and parked it behind the shed where it was and never took it out again.
This one isnt really boneheaded just funny
Had a boxster and had the top down with a friend of mine. I take this curve pretty fast and hit it. Shift into third. and hear this guy "SLOW DOWN THIS IS A NEIGHBORHOOD" i just kinda chuckled cuz it wasnt really a neighborhood and kept driving.
Had a broke toe and had to wear this huge boot that like when to my knee. Well i couldnt really drive cuz i couldnt feel the petal. Well i got this kids car after a football game right in front of my high school just whipping donuts like crazy in his car. Me and my friends still cant believe i did it with this boot.
Well as i said i was pretty confident in my drifting abilities. So one day drove my paretns excursion to school and this road was covered with snow and there was a parralell parking spot open between two cars probably like 2 times the length of the excursion and i am on the opposite side of the road and slow down almost to a stop. Hit the gas and throw the back around and aim for the spot. Went in allmost perfectly. I was a little to far away from the curb but didnt hit anything.

The last one-
The most embarrassing one.
Me and my friend took these two really hott girls out one night. We were in my paretns excursion again. Well we were in the country about to stop and try to get some. Well we saw something and wanted to turn around. And the road was pretty skinny and it had rained alot but like a week ago. And i decided intstead of doing a 3 point turnaround. i would just go up in the ditch and through the field cuz it didnt look to soft. Well go in and up the other side. I sunk in and bottum the excursion out. These girls are laughin and i am like o ****. Well i am rocking it back and forth and almost get it out but just couldnt quite get it. Tried having my friend push and that didnt work. Tried to get the jack out and jack it up a little bit but that didnt work. Mud is flying everywhere and while i am panicing these girls are taking pictures. Well one of the girls asks if i want her dad to come out there cuz we are only like 15 min from her house. Wel she calls him. BUt then a minivan drives by. And he stops and asks if we need help. And i was like uhh yea i sure do. And he didnt want to help cuz he wanted me to have to call my dad and learn a lesson or something. Well he finaly gives in. And i say all i need is a little tug and i can get out. Well we hook the tow strap up to a green chrysler caravan. I he hits it and is burning out and stuff and i just touch the throttle and it pulls right out. The girls then go to take their pictutre with the guy and she calls her dad and says nevermind. He leaves and then we are now late. My curfew was 12 and it was 11:45 and i was a good 45 min from gettin home. Plus i had to wash it. Well we go and drop my friends date off and then i drop my date off. Well i had a terrible night and was pissed but still got some and come out to the truck like 45 min later and my friend is asleep and it is 1 in the morning. I had never stayed out this late and knew i would get in trouble. Well we go to a two car car wash like its two in a row. So we both grab a washer and he got the front and i got the back. ( of the truck) get it pretty clean. Get home about 145 and didnt get in trouble for that. Thought i was clear of getting in trouble when for some reason on sunday ( that happened on friday) he looks under and saw some mud and then looked on the roof and saw mud. He thought i had gone mudding and got really pissed. BUt i really didnt go mudding it was accidental. He yells for a while but it was ok. cuz i still got some that night after all of that embarrassment.
well that is the worst one i think and hopefuly i cant think of anymore cuz i am tired of typing. sorry for the long posts just thought they were funny.

Did I do a biggy today! Idiot!
Not in the 944 (Thank you oh mighty one!), but, in my daughters car.
Parked at a local pub, after some transactions in the bottle shop and inside, reversed out and took out the front bumper and front guard with a one of the uprights of the roof!!!!
Bugger power steering!!
If I had done this in the 944 I would be seriously cheesed!!! Now I have to pay for her car to be repaired as it is not insured!
I hate life!
I also am getting 10+ teeth pulled before next thur as well! Bloody hell! At least the Porsche is in one piece!

Okay, so i lived down in newport news last summer, and a couple of my buddies from college came and visited me. We all went out to a party about 20 minutes from where i lived and it had been raining a little. My buddy scott had come down in his Mustang GT, it was a little built up, did nicely on the straights but handles like *** poop as usual. So we all go party our asses off, and a friend from work calls me up and says he just picked up some good stuff and saw if i was down for a quick lil ride in his blazer. So i tell them where i am and they come pick me up, all while my buddies are still partying. Well apparently they just get real drunk and decide to go driving, it was raining a little and they are taking an onramp on to 64 when the back end starts coming out, well being the redneck mustang lovers they are, scott decides that he is gonna give it more gas to try and correct the fish tail... WRONg... they go about 65 head on in to a guard rail. Both of them are underage, drunk as hell and they know they are screwed. All while the Horn is going off, and the whole ride down they said the horn wouldnt work. . . So they decide they are gonna ditch the car. They take off running from it, and for some reason they think having the keys to the car is evidence against them?!?! so they just chuck the key as far as they can and keep running. I get a call around 2 AM saying that they wrecked teh car and they dont know where they are... Turns out an SUV crashed in to the back of his mustang that was on hte side of hte road... completely totalling it. The car got impounded and he went and picked it up about a week later and had it towed home on a flatbed

well since this is back at the top i might as well post... its christmas eve, eve, and me and my friend are hanging out at the local mall. so we hear that there is a party about 30 minutes away in an hour so we leave so we cam stop and get some food on the way. its about 40 degreese (spelling) and t is starting to mistand i am in my 91 s-class (mercedes, rear wheel drive). we take an exit and while im on top of the ramp we are joking about how one of our newly licensed friends is such a crappy driver. on the way down i started to accelerate because i had to merge (and the car is a diesel). next thing i know my trunk is ahead of me and i correct it just to slde sideways the other way. i run off the left side of the road then get back on the road then slide off the right side of the road sideways... do a 360... hit a tree with my right quarter... bounce off and do another 360... get up on 2 wheels and end up paralell with the road aboutt 5 feet from it. needless to say that was friggen awesome!!!

in louisville we had a huge snow last xmas time, i was on my way back from cincy in my eclipse gsx (turbo awd, thought it would be just fine) anyways, i start my journey at about 35 mph in the hellstorm of snow, i get used to the speed, sooner or later, 40 mph, then i get at about 55mph, things seem just peachy, im passing a semi who is goin pretty fast as well, about halfway inbetween the semi ( you guessed it) im losing control, 55... icy road... tons of semi rice burner crushing metal jus to my right... i am freaking out. i swerve left off the road a little and then right almost into the semis back wheels. i can only imagine how thatd turned out.
. anyways, i make it out of that somehow and then get stuck in 5 hours of traffic, yes its a 5sp tran btw. thank god 3 hrs was standstill. so a 1hr 30 min trip got turned into a 7 hr trip from hell. good thing i had xm radio...
after im home for a few days, none of the snow has melted, more or less turned into white ice. id been drifting around in my car, believing its invincible now, for at least a day or two, anyways, im proud of my self and am backing out of the driveway, the recently snow turned ice had been mounded up to my drive by the plows and i got stuck and ripped my side skirt off halfway. class act nate.... class act...
