I turn avatars and sigs off at work, so all I'm browsing through is text. Helps a lot, I do agree with you, but there is at least an option.

As much as I like the "interesting avatars" I have to agree with Tom.
Not all have the privacy at work that I am lucky to have.

Tom I totally understand what you mean, but the ladies in these avatars are so hot to take a look at that I'd hate to see them go away.

i think turning off the avatars should be fine for people at work... when you have that option i dont think everyone should have to change their avatars.. but thats just me....

To v994god: Nobody is taking away your right to view ladies - there are plenty of other sites where this can be done.

To all: What ever happened to posting a pic of your car in your avatar? HAVE YOU NO PRIDE?!?!

I agree with the your assessment of the situation at work, Tom, I'm in the same position but with the added problem of political back-stabbing in the office. So, Thank you for the information on turning off the avatars at work!

I don't mind them, generally however! and certainly will keep them ON at home

Mine is a little too wild as well...

Tom - this is completely in your control. You are viewing Rennlist at work..

- simply turn the avatars off at work.

I agree- some are a bit questionable, (PG13, Maybe R rated) but don't go whole hog screaming to the teacher that your eyes hurt.

Avert thine eyes and be saved.

Let's involve the ACLU and test freedom of speech as well.

Its easy to turn them off, thats why the option is there. But, I saw them getting out of hand last week and quickly changed mine as I knew some people were getting p'd off. Personally I pretty much leave mine off all the time d/t work, only if someone comments on a funny one do I turn them on to check it out.
