HAs the bubble burst ?
I am seeing very reasonable cars these days , is it just me or do others find these expensive ?
an 82SC targa on Pelican for 21K ? to me that is reasonable.
a 80 SC couple for 27 , okay that is getting up there but still .. not out of this world by any means.
Even one with a bad starter that sat for a year at 17K ...
i think these prices are more than reasonable.
Both cars look nice.

oh I agree the new baseline is higher , but I don't think the prices are out of this world.
There is one guy selling a 78SC coupe with a 3.2 in it so I am trying to get a feel on what its worth. if I can get it at a decent deal i'll get it for my son. needs valve guides for sure as I have followed him in the past.

My 74 with 3.2 in it that I bought this summer is costing me high $20s. But I am also getting the car with a fresh paint job. I would say $20-25K for the car you describe.

Totally agree. People are complaining but the reality is they were unpriced for years. You can't have a $12-15k engine rebuild and $3-5k gearbox rebuild and it still be a $15k car. I know so many people who have spent $20-25K refurbishing a car when you start to dig into paint and interior and other mechanicals as well. The real cost of maintenance and care alone justifies the current prices, new found popularity be damned.

that is Canadian too, in real money that's about 12K .. so if I score it for that its worth it.
I actually don't need one , he called me asking if I want to buy it. I don't have space so would pay to store it for a couple of years than rebuild the engine as I only have one garage.
I think he wants to sell it to me because he can then buy it back later ( so he thinks bawahahaha )
