Before and after shots as well as time lapse of front bumper removal. I went with the Exclusive install so the front bumper PPF will be installed using one whole sheet. No cuts and no seems.

Here are some time lapse videos of the prep for the front bumper and install of the rocker ppf. You can see a little bit of the interior but it's not the best. Again, I'll take some pictures of the interior once I get the car back since I know some people are asking to see it.

Just received this in the mail. Very cool. Finally have something that officially shows the exterior color and CXX options. In this “folder,” I also received a thank you letter and a brand new copy of the Monroney sticker. I always thought “sticker” was a loose way to call the Monroney doc but I guess it really is a sticker. Who knew?

Very cool! I wonder if those of us who did PTS without CXX will receive a similar document. I’d like to have something “official” showing the color and PTS code.

I’ll be waiting by the mailbox

Here are some more pictures including interior pictures. It's been a loooong 11 months from beginning to end but the Spyder is finally home. Picked it up today from Moe at Glistening Perfection and driving home with the peace of mind of ppf done by the best was worth the money. Drove south through the PCH from Newport Beach. Saw another GT Silver Spyder and a Racing Yellow GT4 while en route. If there is a picture or angle you'd like to see, please let me know and I'll try my best with my wannabe amateur pictures. Now let's get to driving.

I tried...I swear, I really tried to avoid doing any mods because I don't want to go down that road again but I swapped out the orange corners for the clear corners. That's all I'm going to do. I swear it.

So if I may share my initial thoughts...
1. The car is very low and all shopping center/mall/parking lot entrances are enemies of that front lip. Basically anywhere you drive to will potentially damage that front lip.
2. The car is low and getting in and out is not suave like ballet even with the 18 ways.
3. The manual top can't be lowered or raised in 10 secs while on the move up to 18 mph.
4. I still have to stick my key in the ignition.
5. The ride is stiff. I might look like I'm texting because I'm swerving left and right to avoid all kinds of road imperfections and especially SoCal potholes.
6. There's no wireless Apple CarPlay.
7. I have to teach everybody that rides, the door pull is not an "Oh Sh*t" handle but rather the door handle.
8. The car has some major blind spots.
9. You can't open the trunk with the sails (top up) attached.
10. It's loud inside.
11. "Pre-flight check" requires me to always click the A.S.S and "binocular" button every time I start up the car.
12. I'm paranoid about using the drink holders.

I know what you're thinking. It seems like in the short time that I drove the car home today, I had a miserable experience. Actually, my son and I LOVED the car. I point those items out because even though I noticed these items that are frequently discussed in these forums, they in NO way can or will reduce my enjoyment of this car. It is that freakin' awesome. My son and I couldn't stop smiling the whole time. Driving down the PCH, top down with the sun out and cool breeze put my 12 y/o to sleep. Granted he slept at 3:30am last night and woke up at 8am but it was funny that he napped while on the PCH and then when I jumped on the 5 and merged onto the freeway, the exhaust sound woke him up and he was grinning ear to ear again.

Gorgeous. Enjoy.

The cupholders are worse than worthless.

Buy one of these. https://rennlist.com/forums/members/...-t-design.html

Thanks for sharing and amazing car! All the little details everywhere are awesome.

For cupholders, I've been using the 981 Boxster model from Ultimate Cupholders and it works well with my morning coffee Yeti rambler. The OEM cupholders work for bottles of water/soda but they can tend to flop around.

This arrived unexpectedly. I too wanted something that officially came from Porsche that says the exterior color with the paint code so I actually ordered the Porsche Production Specification sheet. It cost $108.95 with PCA discount. Another RL shared that he got it as a gift from his SA/dealer. The PPS sheet is supposed to arrive in 4-6 weeks unless this "gift" is the PPS which would place it arriving in about one week's time from when I ordered it. The one that TXShaggy showed in the thread was different than this. I guess I'll wait out about 2 months and if I get something else in the mail then I'll know if this truly was a gift or if this was the PPS I ordered.
