Your experience of birds' droppings really got me concerned. My car is likely to be parked at PECLA for 45 days.
Unfortunately, I don't have any idea how the cars will be stored until PDI and delivery. My guess is it will be stored outside unless there is an underground parking area and then moved inside when they work on PDI. From there, I'm guessing it stays inside until delivery.

Happy to report that after submitting an order on 7/12/20, we finally made it official and signed the paperwork yesterday. We're taking delivery at PECLA so still haven't seen the car but we're super excited and rounding 3rd base to finally seeing the car in person. Unfortunately, even after the reveal, I won't be able to drive it because it's going straight to PPF but at least I'll be able to finally see the color along with the CXX options.

My SA was great and neither he nor the GM played any games with the transaction. Sold the car to me at our agreed upon price. My SA asked me how much I wanted to put down and asked if I wanted to hear about the warranties so the finance guy could prep the numbers ahead of time. Smooth sailing all the way through. Would definitely recommend them.

Now to join PCA. Is most everybody here a PCA member or are you just active on RL and not PCA?

I'm beyond ecstatic to report that I took delivery at PECLA on 5/28/21. It's been a very long 10.5 months. I'd like to thank Taylor at Riverside for being easy to work with and to Porsche of Riverside for being a no non-sense dealer. I'd also like to thank Philip at Exclusive for helping me with PTS and especially my CXX options. Of course, I can't forget Charles and the delivery team for helping to make my delivery day feel so special for myself and my family. Lastly, thank you to the Rennlist folks for all of your help in answering my many questions and helping me pass the time with all of your interesting posts. Thanking Moe at Glistening Perfection ahead of time because I know he'll do an awesome job protecting my car.

In my excitement, I didn't even get a chance to take any pictures of my own except when I dropped off the car to Moe and then remembered I should take a few. I completely forgot to take some interior pictures so please forgive me for not taking more pictures. I'll provide some proper photos once I get my car back. Here are some "teasers" in the mean time.

The color is EXACTLY as I was hoping it would be. Just a pure light "Smurf" blue with no hints of other colors. The pictures here are accurate in some pictures and then a little saturated in others. I think it's more of camera processing and lighting but for those that are curious to what Riviera Blue really is like, the best picture is probably the 3/4 rear picture with the top down on the rear decklid and the rear 3/4 view when it's in the garage for PDI. BTW, the Speedster in the background is Miami Blue and the pictures seems to be a pretty good representation of the Miami Blue color in real life.

Wow! That is absolutely stunning. I’m very happy for you and thank you for all you do for the community here with all the tracking of cars and colours. How about some inside pics?

Congratulations - it's beautiful! Hopefully it will emerge from PPF in a reasonable amount of time so you can get to driving it!

Absolutely stunning! Riviera blue is probably my favorite overall Porsche blue. Very similar to Mexico blue but that very slight hint of green seems to make it pop more.

WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! Congrats
What a beautiful color. I missed the Miami color as an option, ended up with Black. Was to cheap to spend the money on PTS. Now I wondering if I made a mistake

I’d like to see the seats. They look like the “regular” seats with a different insert.

Sorry but I was so excited that I completely forgot to take any interior pictures. I barely remembered to take some exterior pictures and this was after I dropped it off for PPF. The other pictures were from PECLA and my wife and kid and they also forgot to take some interior pictures. I'll be sure to share more pictures once I get it back.

I got the 18 way with CXX Houndstooth/Pepita inserts. I also did the center armrest with the same Houndstooth/Pepita as well. The seats have matching color seat piping only on the seat back. I actually thought it would have it on the seat cushion as well but it looks like they went with deviated stitching on seat cushion and seat piping on seat back for some reason. I also optioned the back of the seats in leather. I couldn't stand seeing that glaring cheap plastic dip silver on the seat backs and lower portion of the seats where the controls are. I know a lot of people say not to waste the money because it's on the back of the seats and you won't see it but if it bugs you, trust me, you'll see it and that's all you'll see. Now the seat is all black except for the stitching, piping and Pepita inserts.

Thank you all for the kind words. It was definitely a loooooooong 10.5 months with some bumps along the way. As you can see from this thread, my journey included some set backs and delays but they were all forgotten once Charles pulled the cover off and I saw that Riviera Blue. My wife kept asking me if I was going to cry during the reveal. ...maybe not on the outside but I was definitely crying tears of joy on the inside.

I know spec'ing your car is a very personal thing as you build the car obviously to your liking but RL was still very helpful in answering my many questions. First time Porsche owner so I was new to the entire process. Still have questions but I'll look over the OM first. Unfortunately it's in the glovebox so don't have access to it right now.
