Many people who think the GT3/RS or GT4/RS are more "exciting" are also not "skilled enough" to drive them properly.

But the NVH in those cars make them feel more exciting, whereas a TT/TTS is more insulated and "muted" (in the harmonics department), which makes it seem like the former is more exciting than the latter.

100%.

Speaking as an owner, I hope I'm allowed to opine that the loudness and jolty shifting of the 4RS are gimmicky.

Having ridden in one, I wouldn't say the liveliness of the GT4RS is "gimmickly" so much as it is overly accentuated.

exactly. Manifold complexity lacks the ability to NOT express every single thought that comes to him.

The GT4RS driving experience thread is frustrating because of his verbal diarrhea.

agree. I love driving the car topless in the morning /evening. Also wearing a hat any day it isn’t really hot.

I do enjoy Bimini option for better sound on hot summer days and so I can clear my blind spot.

So many crybabies on RL, can’t withstand criticism of a car. Heaven forbid someone providing impressions of a car by comparing with other cars, no one ever did that before! Cover your eyes and ears and use Ignore if you don’t want to read someone’s posts …

I recall driving a 991.2 Turbo and getting bored after only one hour, and the 991.2 has more soul than the 992.
Maybe the TTS is the best Porsche car, but it's not my cup of tea. Target customers are different 80% of people who buy TTS will never drive a GT car for more than 15 minutes without saying what is this POS lol
The TTS benefits remarkably from an aftermarket exhaust and pedal/throttle remapping. I have upgraded intercooler, plenum, cats, downpipe, and muffler. Agree in stock form, it tricks you into thinking it's subdued, but it is not. There is also a learning curve of giving it a bit of gas when shifting that took me about 3000 miles to really appreciate. I have not yet tuned the car, but could easily add another 100+ hp to a car that is already insane. If the TTS does not put a smile on one's face, I am not sure what to say... The car really feels like an extension of one's body. It is 100% for a driving enthusiast. It is also perhaps the best looking modern Porsche, only surpassed by the Sports Classic.

The SRS needs an exhaust and pedal/throttle remapping. It does not pull like the TTS and GT3, and the stock sound is not good. The valve opening/closing at 4k is stupid. The cabin wind turbulence is a disappointment. But a big allure for the SRS is the light weight, beautiful styling, and the chance to get a GT3 engine in a historic car. With a little effort, this car will be epic.

The GT3 does not need pedal remapping, just an exhaust. The GT3 with the stock exhaust is boring - muffled, restricted, limited low RPM torque. With Dundon exhaust, the car is epic. The steering and road feel are 11/10. Again, none of these cars are perfect at delivery.

People that don’t agree with him just aren’t skilled enough at driving.

Don’t you have a bridge to go hide under?

I do agree that some can't handle criticisms of the car they have and I have many of my GT4 when it was stock, HOWEVER your daily play by play is like listening to a song on perpetual repeat.

Haven’t posted in that thread in a while, but go ahead and join the exaggeration bandwagon …

nothing to do why criticism of a particular car.

It’s about a bore thinks that his opinion is so important that he has to post every single thought he ever has on his car garage almost every single day.

Like I said, use Ignore if you don't want to read. Not my problem if you choose to read and don't have an interest in what you read. Other people appreciated the posts and encouraged me to keep posting the impressions and comparisons, and I'll continue to do so. It's a car discussion forum ...

Classic narcissist. People’s reactions to their behavior / actions are the other people’s fault / problem.

I have never blocked anyone, even the toxic hardcore trolls. I’m tempted to make an exception, but then the narcissist wins.

Had a TTS for 1 year and sold it to get a Lambo STO . The most engaging cars I have ever experienced is the STO , 750s Mclaren spider , 991.2 GT3RS and recently received the SRS .
I have to agree that the Turbo S is not a fun car , too clinical and perfect . If it was my 1st supercar , I would definitely consider this car to be fun and engaging ...
