Might not be as many cars as people think. The Spyders are usually bought by enthusiasts who have or have had 911s and appreciate both. The average Porsche buyer prefers to buy a 911 instead of a special boxster. Once you eliminate that crowd plus the flipper crowd if they think they can’t make a profit on car demand might be less and cars will end up in hands of people who love driving their car

Not sure I hope there are more (for my own sake). Then I don't have to decide between 493HP epic-ness / rare beast, and my exquisite current MT car.

Quick data point from a small dealer SM I was talking to about allocations.
Not surprisingly, they already have a list longer than their "projected" allocations. Regardless he was quite happy to add me to the end of the list if I brought my Spyder to the table.
Here is the important part, he stated it would be a 2 year run. This makes sense as PAG has publicly stated 718 ICE continues 1-2 years post EV launch.
Anyway, take it FWIW.

2 year production run sounds right but remember we're in year 2 for the 4RS already and look at the demand/ADM's. Started at 100k over and it's down to 50-65k over. They will also make less RS Spyder's than 4RS's similar to Spyder vs GT4.

I was offered an “allocation” day after reveal for $75K.
Don’t know why PAG wouldn’t crank these out like puppies; especially with Osnabrucke expansion.

And if they reveal MT for the second model year (I know I know)…gravy! Surely they’ll be tired of people whining by then.
