1. No. Not even on crappy Australian pot-holed back roads
2. Yes. I wear my noise cancelling airpods for longer trips. They work seamlessly with apple carplay too.
If you're looking for a weekend car to take your partner out for a Sunday afternoon drive and pleasant chat, this is not the car for you.

I love noise. This wouldn’t be a “sunday drive” car. But also if it’s too loud for too long it could be taxing

I did 9 hours in it. Didn’t think it was too loud. But when I hopped in my diesel truck after I thought I was driving an electric car it was so quiet comparatively 😂.

Sweet, sounds like there will be plenty of tire options out there.

Doesn’t scrape anywhere and it’s not loud, I actually don’t know why some say it’s hard to live with when it comes to noise, exhaust in quiet mode I was able to cruise and make business calls. Easy car to live with, you have nothing to worry about.

Hah. Now I just need to find a place that will sell me one for a reasonable price.

For those with 4RS delivered, congrats! But, is the FAL really needed? I didn’t have it on my 718 GT4 or my current 718 Spyder and never came across a time I would use it. The only time I use it on my GT3 is loading onto my trailer. Thanks

Then you don't need it.....but you can always spec it for the next owner

I just learned today of the new Bridgestone Potenza Race tire. I was a big fan of the RE-71R, and the Potenza Race seems like a better track day tire than the RE-71RS (which I don't has the sizes for the GT4 or 4RS). Still a 200 TW tire. Sizes might be a challenge, though - TireRack lists 245/30R20 and 305/30R20. Both are so close but not quite right. Hard to find information on this tire, but here's a place to start: https://www.bridgestone.co.uk/our-pr...s-potenza/race

I don’t need it. Nor did I need it in my spider.

Not needed IMO. I have yet to scrape on anything. Including places where a 991 GT3 would scrape a bit.

Took my 4RS out today for a test drive (haven't purchased it yet) and it's probably just me, but the intake noise sounds like a flushing airplane toilet?

Underbody aero is where I had issues. Not so much the front lip on my 4RS.
