Its just such a shame Porsche can’t hire dmini and TRZ to help them engineer their cars. Maybe then they could turn out some good cars instead of all these crappy Caymans. Perhaps Porsche can at least replace that knucklehead Randy Pobst with a competent hot shoe like dmini.
I meet loads of owners, 85% of owners say the cars ok oem but they just potter about at cars and coffee meets or when they do track days are 30 seconds off a good time ! really 85% owners have no clue I Find, but Manthey are there to make a better car if you want it be to better for those 15% people who understand the limitis owm. You cannot even put a nice geo on a GT4 or SPyder as the rear toe links are fixed units ! but 85% people don;t give a ****.

Eventually more 718 Spyder/GT4 owners not Germans. PFF is generally quite stoked about the GT4RS and folks are mainly complaining about not getting one.
You are basically proving my point that Spyder/GT4 owners are having issues with the GT4RS. Which doesn't come by surprise to me.

I have 2 friends that just returned from a Porsche GT car European binge trip...rented 992 GT3 and 718 GT4RS. Both came away with the same impression, the 4RS is very entertaining and their pick over 992 GT3 overall.
They did drive the Ring and on track the 992 GT3 is faster and easier to drive but their overall is they prefer the 4RS.
This coming from guys that currently have GT2RS, GT3RS, Pistas, STOs, etc and do track all their cars.
The feedback from most people is great also, can't wait to get mine in about 4-5 weeks.
The bottom line is that the 4RS has a target market and it does make sense in the Porsche lineup of GT cars.
That it could be better? Yes but then it would cost even more and have a more difficult time slotting between a GT4 and GT3.
BTW....when comparing GT3 to GT4RS make sure to add all the options the GT4RS already have from the base price.

Doesn’t Manthey immediately replace the shocks on pretty much any car they mod? (A real question, not a snark
)

The new owner of my 718 GT4 just installed the Manthey shocks with the usual TPC toe links, camber plate, alignment combo.
He offered to test the car on the next DE Dec 11 and I'm very tempted to do it so I can finally get a feel for the Manthey suspension upgrade.

What shocks does Manthey use? KW? JRZ?

I need to clarify that. I am absolutely NOT dumping on DeMan and what they offer. All I meant was that the Manthey philosophy of leaving the drivetrain alone and focusing on suspension and brakes is more closely aligned with my own. I'm not about to get into a conversation about DeMan products.
