Not sure what you are getting at here?
It got a little convoluted, but my intent was to say that if someone had previously patched in the past, there is not need or benefit to revert back to stock, and re-patch using the AIO method.

https://rennlist.com/forums/718-gts-...l#post18609267 was the post I was meaning to respond to but I didnt do that clearly.

Yes that's what I understood 😃. No need to repatch with AIO. I believe that @CaneTLOTW removed some diagnostic options in AIO to make it more foolproof.

Ahh, gotcha, and agree, no need to revert back just to use AIO now, the end effect will be the same.

I tried the hard way method today and sadly failed with it.
After all restarts etc. no NAV/Maps option.
Since it's an EU car AIO doesn't work for me.

I used the guide in post#1 and adapted different points since MIB version changed and it's an EU car.

After checking the log, I could only find this strange entry:

---------------------------------------
search File MU1452-ifs-root-part2-0x00ba0000-3005F400.ifs

No Flashfiles there!

MMX-reboot---->
Reboot Unit...

MMX-reboot---->
Reboot Unit...
---------------------------------------

The sd card was preparded before and I copied the fitting folder (MHI2_ER_POG11_K5176_MU1452_PATCH) for my version to directory patches.
Was that wrong?
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this and where start the process again?
I already saved the backup folder in multiple places.

So, you were able to start MIB from the card inserted into SD1 of the PCM? And after MIB ran you could get into the GEM?

OK, here is a real high-level step by step for the manual method.

And from there (in GEM) you attempted to patch and enable like this?

I had Sima help me get Android Auto and Navigation working about a year ago. The Android Auto icon is messed up. Would doing the AIO method over top of what I have update to a newer version and clean that up?

Yes, i did that and I think that's the part where this log entry drops

"search File MU1452-ifs-root-part2-0x00ba0000-3005F400.ifs

No Flashfiles there!"

I set up the folder a little differently, show me what is in the folder. (Checking to see the ifs file is there).

I did 'mine' like this to make sure the file was accessible.

Yes, that's different to my sd card. I followed post#1 to set it up.
So it looks like, I have to move the files one level up and retry patching.

It certainly won't hurt to do so, I know that with AIO is can select the ifs file according to the firmware level but the process here is manual so lets offer exactly what it needs and try again.

I remember seeing a post about using AIO after it was patched by Sima. Let me get back to you and find that post.
Found it here post 412. There might be others in this forum
