I suspect there is a setting to apply the ROW version of PDLS+ function in there somewhere. I had it coded onto my 2015 BMW M3 and it was simply amazing. The high beams would stay illuminated even when there was a car in front of you, but the lights would split around the car in front to avoid blinding them. Same thing with on-coming traffic. It was super cool! There is no way a 2022 Porsche with PDLS+ LEDs doesn’t have the same capability as a 2015 BMW with fully-adaptive LEDs. Here’s to hoping anyway. Here is a link to what they look like in action...

Launch X431 would not allow coding on EPB module, this was done in PIWIS 3. Screenshot is from PIWIS 2

If I recall correctly, BMW had 2 LED offerings in the U.S., both less expensive static LED lights AND a more expensive option for Adaptive LED lights, just like Porsche has with PDLS & PDLS+ versions, but neither were Matrix LED lights. The more expensive Adaptive LED lights were actually installed on U.S. cars as a premium option, but the full-blown capabilities were not activated like the ROW Lights, but they could be coded to be that way. I only mention this because I know the Taycan lights are very different, as in actual Matrix lenses (many LED chips), but the 718 PDLS+ seem more similar to the BMW Adaptive (non-Matrix) LED lights...only there are 2 main LED bulbs in the case of each BMW headlamp housing vs only 1 on the 718.
This video shows how the 2015 M3 Adaptive LEDs works much better than in the first video I posted. They are not Matrix LED lights...also referred to as Laser LEDs in the newer generation BMWs. Anyway, it was a very cool feature, but I guess the 718 does not have that capability. Maybe it is because the 718 only has 1 main bulb/light vs the BMW with 2 main bulbs kind of like a 991.2 with 2 different bulbs (hi/lo) in each of the PDLS+ headlamp housings. Sorry for going off-topic. These 718s are damn near perfect to drive, but if they had the ability to code the lights to operate like the BMWs, then they would literally be the perfect driver’s car…at least for me.

@mc3456 you are correct, the 718 does not have this capability as it doesn’t have Matrix LED headlights, some 911's came with matrix LED headlights but they were not fully adaptive as this was not legal in the US until recently.
There a newer version of the Matrix LED coming soon from Porsche but these will not be in the outgoing 718 models, and the older Matrix version weren’t either.

Porsche Matrix Headlights
A look at this new technology: Performance leap in light technology - Porsche Newsroom
HD-Matrix-Workshop (porsche.com)
Existing 992 version with 84 pixels
Technology being developed for the newest version with 16,384 individual light-emitting diodes per LED array
A combination of the two HD matrix modules with the two bi-functional modules to maintain the Porsche "4-point look."

New to this whole PIWIS idea - I read all 16 pages and didn't see a word about warranty.
Does messing with the codes affect warranty?
Also - how come no one uploaded a warez version of it yet? (the Chinese version is stolen too)
