Using Road fusion mode, BAP and with or without VZA, the cluster displays the same error message. This leads me to believe that our NAR NAV maps don't support VZA or VZE in the cluster and/or our Front Camera does not support this.
Likely this is just based on the GPS signal. Other services in the car reference gps location to lock out features, this one may be similar.

Perhaps then there would a setting to enable or disable this check?

I tried to use the Front Camera only (VZE) without NAV (VZA) but no dice.

^^^ @718socal Nice to see you have real coolant temps being displayed instead of the "fake" 194 degrees. Hard to believe Porsche would choose to display 194 for all temps between 176.5 and 230.5! Thats a range 54 degrees! Now you can also see the effect that "Sport Mode" has on coolant temp.

So I don't have my car yet, but with the great help of @718socal in this thread, I managed to code the roof and mirrors of @Larry Cable Spyder successfully.
Strangely enough, the mirrors didn't tilt right away, and we were under the impression it didn't work, but when Larry got home it started working.
Not sure what's the deal with that, maybe we needed to restart the car or something.

Overall it was a painless process, I used the cheapest VCI I could find on AliExpress - it just worked.

@Lucifer the roof lock feature is a total game changer for the Spyder!!!

the mirror tilt is a bit of a disappointment though, as the mirror does not tilt enough in order to be able to see the curb and rear wheel when reversing... I wonder if we missed something or there is a different setting

has anyone else coded this and got better/different results?

Unfortunately, I haven't found the setting to adjust the tilting angle. There is a setting for the memory package in the door modules. Maybe tilting angle can be saved to the memory button. It would be nice to have a video of the Spyder top close via remote.

that I think I can do !!! I'll make one next weekend at the Boxster Brunch when some of us N.Ca 718's are planning on meeting up!

def need to find some way to code the tilt angle for the Spyder ... it only moves a fraction currently not enough to make it useful for reversing!

btw there is this:

Now this is something I would really like to have. I want the 3-blink changed, but correct coolant temp is way higher on my priority list. I need better wi fi in my garage though, programming the maps in dash took way too long. I just wish there was a programmer close by I could take advantage of instead of having to do it remotely.

If you use a cable and connect your laptop to your router, I think it will work faster. Let me know if you need this coded.
