My large dealer only received one allocation (aside from the two VIP allocations.) & it went to me thankfully.

My sales associate is tentatively hopeful I might, maybe, hopefully, be able to get a GT4 RS in 2023/2024, towards the end of production. Would it help at all to try to get a V070 order in now? Does that not matter?

My dealer received 4 and all 4 are going to the dealer owners friends.... the sales manager says there's nothing he can do and he hates it (he's a proper car enthusiast and owns/tracks a 3RS). He'd love to sell it to people that will actually drive it instead of people that have no clue what they're even buying and sit in a garage for a couple years before being flipped.
Because of this, he's not expecting any normal person on their lists to get one. They'll all go to the dealers friends. Maybe the next round of allocations will be different, but this is supposedly everything for Canada for the 2022 calendar year.

Some people knows the right people in order to 'rectify' certain situations.
Over the production cycle, there will be at least 200 cars coming to Canada, and only the very first round of allocations was just assigned. There are 19 dealers in Canada currently. And not every dealer will get the average of 10 cars.

I'd prefer not to say the dealers name since this is what I've heard through the grapevine regarding allocations going to the owners friends. I don't personally know the owner and can't say for certain that's what's happening. It is one of the GTA area dealers though.
I've heard the 200 for Canada number too. I'm not getting my hopes up after hearing about the shadiness that goes on behind closed doors. I have some connections and know how the whole connections/vips/allocations game works when it comes to cars like this. I'm sure some dealers are definitely better than others about this.
