001 VIN interesting for some reason?

My first Porsche ever was a 2014 Cayman "launch vehicle" that had been flogged for over 3500 km by PCNA and various journalists here in Canada. I had absolutely no problems with it other than having to replace all 6 coil packs (which Porsche Canada covered under the warranty). This, as it turned out, was a common issue with those cars anyway.

I know, I know, in terms of statistical rigour, this is N=1 only, but might help someone make a decision.

car 0001 is going to be worth more in 30 years. Doesn't mean that much right now when they are still in production.

That PCNA 001 car has a deposit now, i went to go see a PTS gt3 they have and was told it took a deposit today. Was a good deal

Well, I have made offers on 3 different GT4RS CPO'd cars and have had no luck at 15k over MSRP. I am also getting totally screwed on my 23 trade-in valuation. I can get an allocation for 40k, no thanks. I am seeing prices come down and a lot of inventory but unfortunately I just can't make a deal that works for me...yet.
Surprisingly and again unfortunately, I am seeing a lot of $$$ magnesium wheels on the available cars. I really don't want them on a car that I want to track, do you?

I’m in the same boat. I’ve been trying the past few weeks, but everyone still wants 40k+ over MSRP on a used car. I don’t think they want to lower the prices because they paid too much for them. They’ll take a loss if they come down to 10-15k over MSRP. But those cars are just going to sit on their lots for a long time.

They'll have to come down or just continue to sit. The people that wanted them first and were okay paying crazy ADM did. Now with the 3RS deliveries Spyder RS around the corner there will be more inventory as the 4RS get traded in and prices will drop. We can only speculate how far from MSRP. I follow the market regularly and see cars just sitting. I've also been offered speccable cars starting in the 30k range vs the 50-75k a year ago.

Agree with the sentiment of not wanting loaded up cars with things like mag wheels and painted keys on top of MSRP + pricing.

Same boat for me, still looking. I'm hoping to score an allocation for 20-25k over sticker, hopefully they still make them in 2025 MY for USA and I can snag one. Good luck, I think there are many of us that really want the car to keep that don't have one yet.

I am aware of a mid-Atlantic delivery coming in a few weeks time, White Weissach spec w stripe, mag wheels, no FAL, near $200 sticker with $25-$30 ADM. The buyer is not going to take delivery so it is avail. If anyone is (seriously) interested shoot me a PM.

Tough choice on mag wheels, they do look spectacular. But I would rather take the $31,000 for mag wheels and Weissach pkg and buy an AP racing brake setup and 19" wheels to run 265/305 tires.. and still have money left over for consumables. Car will have more grip, brake better, and be faster on track.
