Of the 43 V200-V900 (US) GT4 RS allocations I can see, all show in PVMS as MY24...
Thanks for confirming. It's pretty funny to see all this false information posted here by those hoping to get 4RS prices to MSRP when they probably won't even buy one at MSRP if that does happen.
I paid an ADM, because that was what it took to purchase the car.
Didn't like it, but I could understand the dealer's perspective and the market prices.
I hope they keep building them and ADM's drop. Its such a great car.
The more people that can enjoy them, the better off the world will be!
For those without allocations, check BAT and the other sites. Seem to be coming down in price. And some good ones out there.
I just don’t know why people post stuff like this. If you know of a car or cars great! Tell us! But I have seen broker lists of up to 40 cars and 10 were 4RS and I have not seen anything under 30k and many were still 50k. There is always an odd sale at MSRP and we know that is based on relationships.
I've stopped frequenting forums as much because you come to realize 90% of folks are the peanut-gallery on the sidelines posting uninformed information with little-to-no skin in the game. But I do highly value the 10% of folks who are knowledgeable and help spread good information. Case-in-point, this thread and a few PMs convinced me to pull the trigger on a $30k allocation. Made me feel like it was indeed on the lower end of "market" and not above. And I'll keep an eye here because if things fall you better bet I'll be negotiating or not take the car...and that to me that highlights the downside for dealers in this ADM game...it's trying to catch a falling knife and ends up being a race to the bottom if markets don't hold.
Called a dealer since I saw they had an 4RS coming in and I was curious about the price. The dealer said they got 2 allocations and can offer it for 75k ADM. I'm a nobody so I'm guessing things are softening up?
GT Allocations are given for the whole year without some getting populated in the PVMS due to MY change that happens after July. A build cannot be submitted until the embargo is lifted for that MY. Long story short dealers already know what GT cars they’re getting for the rest of the year. of course some bonus allocations are always given based on PCNAs discretion

This actually makes sense as one usually cannot see unconfigured allocations at other stores. Only once they've been at least basically configured do they become visible.
It would also make sense to go ahead and issue your MY25 GT allocations during the November '23 drop if you're only going to do one "GT drop" per year..
One thing I do know is that our store did not receive any MY25 cars during the November "GT drop"...

Appreciate your insight; does the screenshot above look like a typical communication.
Was you store told MY25 was zero or no information was communicated.
We’re getting mixed intel on what happened for CY24.

Would that allocation basically be a June/July 2024 build lock and roughly a September 2024 delivery (if Porsche doesn't delay it)?
I am still skeptical just because the allocation screen generally does not look like that. Not to mention if it isn't a V200, it technically isn't a real allocation until Porsche accepts it on their end isn't it?
It should not look like someone typed it out on Word/Excel zoomed in. It should give you an exact time of what month for the year it is. You should see the 2024 allocation slots already, it doesn't look like that screenshot.

From what I know, dealer makes an Order Demand first and hopes to get a factory build slot allocated. Once a factory build slot is given (specific month) to the dealer then, the dealer is able to notify the customer(s) to proceed with locking in the configuration and a V200 can be issued against the Commissions Number.
Over here in my country, Porsche Asia Pacific hands each country the factory build slots for GT cars. It is also based on the volume each country sells. I.e. if it's a small volume sales country they will naturally get less GT allocations as well. For limited production cars, like the SC/ST/Race cars, Asia Pacific gives the allocations out to the country and needs the respective dealer(s) need to confirm within a very short timeline (e.g. 48 hrs). Race models e.g. Porsche 935, justification papers have to be written to show that the car will be sold to buyers who will race them on the track before it gets allocated.
