I know for a fact that US Spec cars will be build starting May 2022......that sounds more like a 2022 model.

Keep in mind that 981 GT4s were build beginning may/june '15 but were all classified as '16.

US dealers have only received 918 vip slots so far, the regular GT4RS allocation will be released in January or so and would be 100% of all the production for 2022.

Will that be it for allocations? Or will there be some for 2023 issued.

My sense for the US is we aren’t going to see anymore GT4RS allocations in 2022, with maybe a few outliers like Porsche Chicago. We should see some marketable improvements in these allocations for 2023.

With a little luck, supply chains bend towards more normalcy, and those paying insane market adjustments, get stuck like a large number of 911Rs did.

Why the extra consideration for Porsche Chicago?

That’s what my dealer said last week.

I don't see supply chain improving for 2023. Likely 2024 before this **** show is back to any semblance of normal, and by then the collapse is going to be in full effect.

Is there info on the number of build slots / allocations dealers are getting for 2022? Is it matching up with the recent predictions?

At least my dealer, that reports to Porsche Latam, he know his build slots for the first 6 months. May production being the first slot.
They showed me a new system in which he can see the slots for the first 6 months but can't lock builds to them just yet. Not sure if this is because of the current logistical nightmare for manufacturers as he did mentioned that things are not 100% sure and slot numbers could change.
