Yes, someone had it removed a couple of years ago - search the forum. He had to have the hole filled in and painted but you can remove it from underneath the lid.

Here’s an interesting Spyder RS video… and without talking, thankfully!

Talk about pedal to the metal… phew. I hope for the car’s sake it had been broken in at least a little.

Full redline and autobahn runs without PSM in Normal mode? Wow.

I don’t think this was posted previously, was it?

Your question has been answered up above, it is not cheap or easy and considering that you have to weld in a patch and repaint the trunk lid (when so many Porsche owners' frown upon repainting) I don't know why you would!

And as for a plug , yep, it's the XM antenna, already there and painted to match!

Deeply regret... seriously, after a few weeks it is virtually unnoticeable.

Counterpoint: it is very noticeable and absolutely heinous.

Counter-counteroint, it would be like passing on a date with Cindy Crawford because of her mole!

Maybe not 186, but I can tell you 150mph in my 981 Spyder is a piece of cake. The car is so planted; the center of gravity is so low.

completely agree. I am so much happier without the roof wart on my GT3. I couldn't even emotionally bond with my car until Moe and his team fixed the wart and the color bits I mentioned in the thread link I posted.
