For me, Front Lift doesn’t really matter. Every car I’ve driven for the past 15 years has been on Coilovers. I appreciate that Porsche Atleast makes the front lift in Black ABS instead of something painted. I rarely scrapes (live in Brooklyn) and when I do it’s part of driving a lowered car?
Meh, weight, complexity, the SRS is already heavier than my Spyder by 23KG and what's one more control module, skipping FAL for these savings makes no sense to me.

All good points. What % of GT cars would you estimate have the FAL since it became available, IIRC first with the 997.2 GT3/RS? Do FAL cars command a premium on the used car mkt over those without it?

I also had to purchase the watch which costs more than a steel Rolex! But the watch does seem sort of cool with the option to put your PTS colour on the dial, engraved VIN, and matching wheel on the display back and stitch colour on the strap - it's like a little mini SRS on your wrist! ....Or I'm just excited to get the SRS allocation and this is a small price to pay. Not sure which...

We've all been driving spyder and gt4s for a while (or other low cars), so we know where are comfort levels are, and what our experiences have been. Let's have a little respect for individual preference / experiences / insights. Each person's risk / reward threshold is different.

With all due respect to folks on both sides, let's tame the histrionics and the self-projected "obvious" answers.

Talked to dealer today. Cxx is locked until mid 2025 and I have June build. Only way to get pts is weissach but you are forced to do alcantara dash. Only way to get leather dash is non weissach but you are forced to forgo pts. Catch 22.

2025 or 2024? I hope 2024. Second option would be to order a dash and center console panels using a 718 Spyder vin. As long as I can find a vin number that has black leather w/ red stitching. I am pretty sure they will fit as I am not aware of any changes in the interior. I haven't had a chance to check with my dealer. Thanks for the report!
