PAG dropped "Boxster" from the naming convention of the 718 Spyder and 718 Spyder RS

I still get email communications relating to my order referring it as a Boxster.

Did the dude in the video or I guess in this case the 'dubber' in english say that this car has a light-weight Titanium Exhaust "System" ?

Anyone have any insight on how the 718 Spyder RS might compare to a 981 GT4 when it comes to feel on the track?
I know the engines and transmissions are different, but how about the chassis feel? Any thoughts on which you would pick for a track day?
Any idea why we've seen so few reviews of the car, even though it's out? It's primarily only been the influencer-y types. Feels odd for a Porsche product, let alone GT or RS...their cars usually do the full circuit.

If you want to enjoy the GT handling and sound with no roof, buy a 718 Spyder/718 Spyder RS.
I expect my coming 718 SRS to be more like my old 991.2 GT3 but not as stiff as my 992 GT3.
it is a niche car, a lot of people doesn’t know about its existence (happened several times during year 1/2 ownership with the regular 718 Spyder). The customer target is reduced, so less press, less media, etc

Even with an SRS on the way, I still think the 718 spyder (with mt) is the absolute pinnacle. It has it all. It’s the sweetest of sweet spots.
The SRS is a toy for collectors and nutters.

I have commented elsewhere that the 981 Spyder feels grippier on the road and more planted than the 718 Spyder. I don’t wish to spark a big debate about this but that was my impression after several long test drives in optimum summer driving conditions. The 718 Spyder seems to wag its tail on the hairpin turns whereas my 981 Spyder inspires endless assurance of its surefootedness in the canyons. Nurburgring is one thing; canyon carving is another.
With all this being said, I do not imagine that any manual Spyder whether 981 or 718 is going to be as accomplished in terms of maximum sports car feel as the 718 Spyder RS. I expect the RS to be the pinnacle of handling, engine power transmitting through the gears (just look at those short ratios), and engine sound. The fact that I am not rowing the gears myself doesn’t change those three attributes, but I imagine for the hardcore purist a manual transmission adds the intangible icing on the cake. I know I wouldn’t ever part ways with my 981 Spyder; I wonder if I’ll feel the same about Spyder RS.

If your main use purpose is track, buy a GT4RS/718 GT4/981 GT4.

Biggest complaint I had with the 981 GT4 was that handling wasn't good above 8/10ths - the car lagged in communicating what it was doing near the limit, and then lagged in responding to inputs. By comparison, the handling of the 991.1 GT3 was much better, much more precise and clear and responsive near the limit. Otherwise, the 981 GT4 was a great car.
