Did a couple of things. Installed an Antigravity battery. Installed a Guru rack so I can tow a trailer to the track. I know most people will hate it, but I like driving to the track and this allows me to bring my track tires and more tools. Tows great and easy install for the hitch. The wiring on the other and was a pain. Basically had to strip the entire interior. Had to run the brake light to the third brake light, and the tail lights to the license plate light, and of course the turn signals to each tail light.

Also installed a Recaro Podium. Only weighs 13 pounds. I mounted it using a BBi autosport base, which weighs 15 pounds. Bought an extra seat belt harness that plugs right into the oem wiring harness, so no seat belt warning. I also swapped over the position sensor, but still getting the airbag light. Local shop thinks they can code it out, so we will see next week, when it's there getting stiffer springs installed and realigned. Seat is very comfortable. It sits lower and gives me more leg room, which at 6-4 it really helps. I'll know for sure in a few weeks how comfortable it is, after an 8 hour drive to Sebring. Still waiting on my roll bar to install my harness. Should be good to go after that.

@jwr9152 Cool! Love the pic of the towable trailer. I had one for my 986S back in the late 90's / early naughts. I was wondering whether an analogue existed for the 718 gt4 / spyder. Do you mind sharing the details of your (Guru?) setup in a DM, please? That would be awesome. You get the funniest looks towing a track trailer in your little sport car. Or here, for popular consumption.

Sure you can DM me and I would be happy to answer any questions you have, but basically I contacted http://www.gururack.com/ in South Florida. I sent them my rear bumper beam and they weld a hitch to a plate and them bolt it to the bumper beam and ship it back. You do have to cut a hole out behind the license plate to access the receiver, but the license plate covers it up. Nice feature is the license plate is on sliders, and just slides down out of the way when you need the hitch. I cut a small notch in the license plate frame so I can install my tow hook at the track, without taking my license plate off. Guru rack supplies the slider. It's a 1-1/4" receiver. I bought a hitch with a 3" drop from U-haul, and a three way adapter
Amazon Amazon
. Lights were a pain only because it took me a while to figure out I had to use the third brake light and license plate light to make it all work.

And people do look at me like I'm insane when I'm towing the trailer.

Installed the Cartronics exhaust valve controller. Not horrible to get at the harness plug, but certainly not enjoyable! Frankly, just accessing the engine is a royal PITA! Total job took about 2 hours going slowly. I debated cutting the carpet to be able to pull the engine cover without having to pull all the trim; a friend of mind did it. I decided not to just yet (day 2 of ownership and all). I'm hoping I won't be in there much.

I also decided I would leave the symposer thingy stock for now. Others debate if it works, helps, hurts, etc. The tube enters the cabin and dead-ends right into very heavily padded carpet behind the seats. I can't imagine it's doing that much. So I'll try it this way for a while first. I have a feeling Porsche did it this way to counteract drone, not create it.

Added a wireless Apple Car Play unit to my 718 Spyder. Much better to connect to Cap Play wirelessly. Was a breeze to setup, plug it into the center console, connect it to your phone with Wifi/Bluetooth and I had to replay it back in to get it working properly.

link if anybody is interested, got it for $80ish with a coupon. Had a $100 gift card from X-Mas I used for it
