Nice job.... where did you source the "PORSCHE" lettering ?

I know you were not asking me but for what it is worth. I had new PORSCHE lettering made for my calipers. I used my decal maker friend to make them in Yellow over a Gloss Black rectangular background (to cover the existing lettering) and then covered with clear vinyl:

Here is a pic of what I was referring to above, which shows the 12 o'clock marker and GT3 shift ****. I had painted the AC Bezel Satin Black to match the other pieces I did (vent surrounds & centers, airbag trim ring, plate at the base of shifter, etc.) but it is off now since we are working on a 3D-printed eyelid to eliminate the reflection at night:

What is on the floor under your right leg? Cupholder? Please share link for that and your glasses holder.

https://www.ultimatecupholders.com/ are for the best cupholders I could find...been using them in P-cars for years. And that is not a glassholder, it is for bracing my right leg against so it does not hit the hard center console.

That is why I opted for LWBS, tired of sliding about in the seat on the track!

Probably a bit more expensive then your knee pad though...

My standard seat centers are mouse fur so I do not slide, or track...just wanted my right knee to be comfy. And I would opt for the same seats again if I had to reorder.

LOL me too - but for autocross. Having autocrossed two 981s with standard seats before... LWBs or GTFO! Tho for me, the problem wasn't the center console... it was the door speaker grille acting like a cheese grater to my knee!

HA, Ha, too funny, I like it, the cheese grater!

Our local track is short and twisty, not unlike a big autocross, in my 981's I had one knee against the speaker and one against the console, now with LWBS I can drive without holding on to the steering wheel for any purpose other than steering the car!

Bob, did you order the steering wheel and shift boot from factory with Yellow stitching? Or did you have it done by someone aftermarket?

Pretty sure if you leave the steering wheel alone with the no cost alcantara wheel, the stitching goes with it. The shift boot is aftermarket.

Bob, you’re an animal. Your car looks great. Your improvements are subtle and tasteful. I love the way you did yellow logos on black calipers. Looks great.

Yes, I selected the "Extended" Deviated Stitching option in conjunction with the leather steering wheel and shift **** so they came with the Yellow stitching, along with the shift boot. If you are looking for someone to do some deviated stitching and/or leather work try Classic 9, who did my sunvisors for less than half the cost of Exclusive Option, and they are better than OEM.

And thanks, I was shooting for a more subtle look this time as compared to my last P-car, the Miami Blue Targa GTS!

Thank you Bob! Did not know about that option back then and honestly still can’t believe we have to pick a $3,500 option to ensure our $0 leather steering wheel and shifter option to match the interior stitching that already costs over $3k… Porsche works in weird ways.
