Although I was a little suspect on how they would fill out the cutouts when I held them in my hands, they actually filled the gaps better than I thought once installed. Will I be pulling them off anytime soon to hunt down another version thats 110-115MM in OD… NAH, they look the part as is! Take this as a non-bias opinion, just bc I bought it, doesn’t mean I wouldnt knock it.. I’m not one to settle for something thats not to my liking… IMO, an additional ~10MM would have made these PERFECT.

Very pleased with form/fit/finish at this price point ($300), glad I chose to be the guinea pig on this one. As mentioned, I’d be shocked if this wasn’t the exact carbon copy that Ninemeister sells, even down to the hardware.

These would not have been a direct fit without using the retaining rings that are inside of the OEM tips. I removed them from the OEM tips (simply done by pressing with a screwdriver), and slid them inside of the GT4RS Style tips, and they tightened up easily. There was roughly ~4-5mm (caliper tested) of clearance before I even attempted to wrench them down. I felt there was no way I wanted to put that much stress on the clamps/tips, while potentially bending them out of round.

**Note** For good measure, I did reuse my 1/32nd (1/2”x2”) metal banding wire shim trick as well, which I also used to fit the OEM tips snuggly onto the Kline rear. I tightened to a point where they were held on fairly well, aligned, tightened more, aligned… rinse & repeat a few more times as all tips like to shimmy around when you’re tightening them down.

Beautiful. Do you have more pics? How was it removing the rockers to get them on?

Thanks! Huge improvement IMO, and it wasn't that bad. The screws all come out quick and the rear portion pops off no problem. The front clip behind the front wheel was a total PITA on the drivers side but it was pretty easy on the passenger side for whatever reason. The second side took under a half hour all in. Only other tedious part is drilling the rocker and ensuring the screw goes into the part of the scoop with more 'meat' on it, which I assume is designed to accept the screws.

My twin!!

The worst part for me was getting the old covers off. I really struggled with them and by the time I was done I don't think I learned anything that would make it easier the next time around. Best I can say is that once the bottom comes loose and you can get the first clip to come free, then it all comes out pretty easy. As for the holes for the screws... They're super easy. I read a trick for that somewhere else and it worked perfectly. First drill the scoops in the obvious thick parts where the screws go. Then hold them up to the car and use a right-angle pick to make little divots on the car where the holes need to be. They'll be perfectly lined up. I then used a bigger punch to make a better divot to ensure the drill bit wouldn't wander, and then drilled 1/8" holes. It worked like a charm.

Put some Kline 101mm tips on my Kline exhaust. I like how they stand out a little more than the subdued stock tips. Should've came with the exhaust IMHO!

So, I dislike the way the black OEM lug bolts chip with usage so I picked up a set of silver titanium bolts a few months ago. Because I had my winter OEM wheels in black mounted, I never installed them. This weekend, I finally reinstalled my summer setup with the ti bolts. Pretty happy with the way they look.

Ayyy. yeah getting the old vents off was the worst, by the second side I just was using needle nose to "near" off the male end of the factory vent. Did that x3 and they came out really easy lol. Obviously factory vents are ruined but who cares.

Wired up a Uniden R8 today!

Agree the Ti bolts look better.

I was going to get the titanium lug bolts but then heard that they like to loosen up and you have to check them periodically to make sure they’re still tight. I wasn’t interested in the extra maintenance.

Small price to pay for the massive reduction in unsprung mass! :P
